Donovan, first or last?

Just curious. When you hear the name Donovan, do you think of it as a first name or a last name?

Usually 1st name because Im used to it. Such as: Donovan McNabb from the Philidelphia Eagles.

I was curious because thats my last name but I often get people saying, "Isn't it weird having a first name for your last?"

This is because of Donovan Bailey and Donovan McNabb (as Leather said). However I've always noticed more people with it as their last name (that I have encountered). Since it is my last name, I usually take notice to it and I've probably heard it as a last name 75-80% of the time, yet I still hear people think its odd to have it as a last name.
