Name: Njord Axeson
Age: 37
Sex: M
Species: Dwarf (LotR)
Looks: (Pic in siggy) Eyes: Blue. Hair: Blonde. Skin: Tanned and weatherbeaten.
Height: 5', tall for a dwarf.
Weight: about 200 lbs.
Weapon(s): Three axes, a battle axe of mithril with a stout shaft so it can be wielded with one hand, and two more hatchets, both of a strange, dull, jet black metal.
Weapon Element: His two hatchets posses no element, however his battle axe is very potent with the element of earth. An example, if he smacks the flat of its blade against the earth, the earth with begin the quake tremendesly.
Weapon Bio: His two hatchets look of the regular bearded make, except for the seemingly unbreakable black metal they are made of. The battle axe, however, was made for him, and only him by his god, the great smith Thor, and delivered by Njord, god of storms and the sea, his household god, whom he is named after. When I say only him, I truely mean only him. It is enchanted so that, if any other would try to lift the thing, it would weigh a massive amount, where as for the dwarf Njord, it wieghs only a few pounds. If some mortal or half managed to lift this anyway, the axes blade would become dull, and not sharpen, but if Axeson wields it, it is sharper than any blade on the planet. Nor would its earth properties work for any other who does not have Njord's permission to use the axe.
Appearrance: A cap helm, an iron chain shirt, and all else is in the picture.
History: Njord Axeson is a ranger, one of the only ones of dwarven kind, and this is how he came to be favored by the gods. He was trvelling across the lands of the north, when he noticed two hunters and a huntress being assaulted by a force of wolves who were great in number. The hunters would soon be over whelmed by this force, this Njord saw, and he leaped into action immeadietly. He blew into his rams horn, which was acknowledged by a few dwarves in the area, mostly wandering the north trying to find their fortunes, they moved quickly as dwarves can towards the area, and though Njord saw them from afar, he knew the huntress and her companions would have fallen a long while before they were reached. Without another thought, Njord drew his two hatchets and with a great roar, charged into the fray.
He hacked left and right, up, and down. He moved with such quickness that the wolves were astounded. They were sure this was a short human and not a dwarf. Since when had dwarves become faster than rabbits? Njord was over come with battle rage, and when he saw the lady fending for herself, her two companions dead, he became more infuriated, and hacked his way to her, killing all in his path. As he reached her, she was wounded in the side, and fell.
Njord saw this and froze. Only for a split second, but to him it seemed like an eternity. His eyes went pure red with bloodlust, and he howled at the sky. He screamed insults, curses, and challenges in a language he did not recall learning, beckoning the wolves to his bloody axeheads. He stood over the fallen huntress, still alive and breathing, meanwhile he took multiple cuts and wounds, but felt nothing, and merely killed on, blood splattered over his face, his eyes an unbound rage red, his beard and hair dyed red from their original blonde. He seemed like a demon standing their, roaring in an unknown tongue, howling at his assaulters, standing over the fallen women as if his feet were rooted there, as if he was a strange type of tree that had grown there. he never gave ground, only beckoned and killed, and as his bloodlust and limbs began to tire, the called dwarves joined the fight, and two of the fourteen that had come bore the huntress off to the nearby woods. Njord watched her off and rejoined what was remaining of the fight, a few wolves who had not fled at the sight of more dwarves.
He finished this, thanked all the dwarves and set off to where the huntress lay. She was sipping tea under a pine with a fur cloak covering her. She looked at Njord as he approached her, noting the blood covered face and dried blood on his beard. The huntress stood, and njord was about to protest when he noticed, to his amazment, that the considerable wound she had sustained was now healed. She smiled and walked over to him. She seemed somewhat familiar to him, and as she bent over to kiss him, he relized.
He closed his eyes and opened them, and she was gone. The north wind blew, and he heard a women's voice say.
"A test, Njord. I owe you my life. Now you are worthy. Now you are favored."
The huntress had been Freyja, goddess of beauty and the hunt. From that moment on he was able to control his bloodlust, to summon it and abolish it at will.
Two years later, in a battle with goblins, Njord Axeson was given his battle axe by Njord, god of storms, who had Freyja by his side.

Good character!I think it's up to Bop though, he's sort of in charge now.
Yes, I agree that's a good character. And don't worry newcomer, new members are always welcomed and needed! 😊
Trick: Omg! does no one here check my profile?! 😱 i'm a woman for crying out loud! 😠 😛 😆
Lol, I've never tried to play a woman, but I guess I could. If it seems right I'l lplay a badass one in the next Rp I join. Just some of the women in the RPs are really out of place. Like the sherrif's daughter-cum-shotgun weilding outlaw. It always make me think that someone needs to decide on a personality and stick to it. 'Tis why I like playing the mysterious characters.
