God's Legends: Role Play

"It sure does," replied Zanther, smiling in his pride of knowledge. "But, most of my knowledge on myths like that came from having alot of time on my hands to read everything in the Vatican's library when I was imprisoned there and wasn't aware that I was a daywalker until shortly after my mentor released me and got permission to be my guardian. Also, when there isn't a mission on the horizon and when I have to be on the down low while tourists come to visit the public sections of the vast church."

"it must be great having a past" Ark said, "should we start goign again?"

"Not as much as you would think," said Zanther, shaking his head at that comment. He shifted his glance from Ark to the forest behind him, and asked, "Would you be interested in finding that location you spoke of or towards the place I saw in the frost gargoyle's memories that is towards the east?"

"well i dont think the gargoyles are a big problem, but if we go look the the clan's place, we could be searching for weeks, but its not up to me" Ark replied

"I only suggested the gargoyle's lair for it might have some sort of clue, but...then again, this creature's sense of thought is very scattered and could take me days to sort it properly. Hmm...I guess we could trash that search after all. I'll have to dispell of this beast's memories later, but I won't dispose of these frost powers. Kind of liked them," said Zanther, holding up his palms and flexing his fingers, creating a sample of fog upon the night air. He grinned, toothily with glee. Then, snapping out of his short lived reverie, the vampire looked over to Ark, "If you really want to take these men down who are threatening you, then just say the word and I'll arrange it with the group."

Ark made his claws and teeth grew longer and sharper, then he retracted them, "its strange i drained one too but i didnt get the frost power" Ark said, "and for the clan, i dont want to get every one involved, they might not want another burden from me, but i think the clan will and should make the first move"

"I was able to acquire the frost gargoyle's powers for that's one of my powers, absorption. I can drain someone or simply take a sample of someone's memories and powers, and use it to my advantage. This was one of my mother's powers, I have to take extra precautions to make sure no one touches my poisonious skin," explained Zanther. "I could never truely learn to control it for I am a vampire and already dead, so I can't abtain such peace. As for your request, let it shall be then. Do you have a suggestion as for the direction, if not an Eastern direction?"

"i think north" Ark said, his hands glowed black, "i also drain, it was Deity's power, but i don't know how to drain with out killing, but who is complaining"

"We both have skin tissue problems, great," said Zanther, sarcastically. "I can kill anyone with this power if I hold on too long and drain too much. Especially, mortals, they are so easy to kill." The vampire fixed his posture and hooked his hands upon his belt. "So, what's your beef in the north, huh?" Zanther looked to that direction, wondering.

"i dont think its skin problems, but its definetly a problem, but im controlling it sorta" Ark said, his hands stopped glowing, "i dont know why north, mabey a huntch, or mabey a clan member is leading us into a trap"

Mihai walked til he was standing behind Zanther. Speaking softly, he said, "Ragnard and Vash. Soon there's going to be physical contact. You have to determine whois going to get the weapon. And do it now." He bowed his head to Ark, "My apologies for interrupting your conversation."

Ark looked at Mihai weirdly, Ark has never spoken to him, "its ok" replied Ark to Mihai

Zanther looked over his shoulder and threw Mihai an mild annoyed glance, "You mind?" He took a step forward, away from the man, and returned his focus upon Ark. "If it's a trap, it's worth tracking it for now for it's our only lead we got for the time being throughout this whole trip since I've been a member of this group."

"yeh but i still dont feel like a member, when i first came, every one was a bit strange around me, especially Tal" Ark said, "lets go then" he started walking north

As Zanther kept in stride alongside Ark, he agreed with him by saying, "That's how everyone else, but Vash, Tal, and you, treated me and some still do. But, I won't name names of the certain others. Further more, I think Tal is uncomfortable around you for you keeping changing on her and you used to be some of her friends...that didn't go lightly with her as far as what I've heard from her. Just give her a chance and try to talk to her, she just may open up to you again. Tal did that with me, only I just showed her kindness."

"yeh Alyssa was the only one who treated me good, aswell as an equal" Ark said, "i havent spoken to her since i came back" Ark started to walk abit faster

"Alyssa always has been distant since I joined the group and after the death of her lover, again that's what I heard from Tal," said Zanther, quickening his pace also. "What's the matter?"

"didnt Tal tell you?" Ark said, "me and Alyssa were an item, you could say"

"Oh, that was you? Man, I could've sworn she said it was some other dude that Deity was able to take the form of!" said Zanther, shocked by his simple mistake such as confusing people's names around. He almost felt like laughing, but thought better of it, at the expense of Ark.

"it was me" Ark said, "i feel like being alone right now, hope you don't mind" Ark flew off
