What is the normal temperature of a CPU?

Mine apparently is 168 degrees F, and it was displayed in red.. therefore I don't think that's normal. Anyone know what is normal? It's a P4 1.7 GHz...

Processor Max Power Usage Core Temp. Limit
Pentium 4 1.4 GHz 54.7W 70º C 158 F
Pentium 4 Xeon 1.4 GHz 56.0W 69º C 156.2 F
Pentium 4 1.7 GHz 64.0W 76º C 168.8 F
Pentium 4 Xeon 1.7 GHz 65.8W 73º C 163.4 F

Check coolers.... 😬

it aint that much above average but idd check your coolers, why didnt you do as I do, lower the warning temp by 10 degrees, that way your comp shut down before it can really hurt itself

or get it fixed like mine 😉

😑 and in celcius?

there are many converters on the net, shouldn't be too difficult to find one

🤓

sorry, I would do it for her, but I'm on a crappy pc
