gc can kiss my ass. they dont even write their own songs. if you dont belive me, go to the back of the cd jacket and look, it says, all songs written by-some dude that i dont know. plus all their songs are like," i hate you daddy, you left me and mommy on the porch and i want to tell you how much i hate you." screw off gc, that probably happened like ten years ago. and one song is like, dont commit suicide, you dont know what your missing in life, then the next song is like, the happiest day of my life is the day that i die. i dont know what the hell happened there, but when i listened to their second cd for the first time, my respect went way down for them. and avril sucks too. she actually writes her own songs saying, hell ya, im a punk, buy my music, im a canadian whore. the funniest thing ive ever seen is at an mtv awards show, they placed avril in the POP catagory. heres my summary. gc is a bunch of posers thinking there getting something out of life by riding the joy coaster of socialist conglomerates advertising their music so that gc and the corporation can get money, because pre-teens will buy anything the media says is good. avril is a canadian whore who thinks she is a punk, but she just digs herself deeper into making herself look like an ass. when you have to "show" the world your a "punk" that means your obviously not. the ramones didnt have to say the were punk, people knew it by their music, people still dont know if avril as alternative or pop-"punk."

I used to like GC until all the teenyboppers came and they got popular....😕 Their REALLY REALLY old songs were good....The kind you can't even find anymore cause they're not on any album; they were recorded in their garage back in, like, 94 or something....Some of those songs are pretty good....They weren't all full of themselves back then....😕

what the hell dude? if you listen to all of the lyrics 98% of their songs have atleast one reference to him, they have like 3 songs devoted to the subject, and the young and the hopeless the song is actually an act for attention. they figure if they can act like they are depressed they can get pop culture to listen to them and grab a shitload of preteens down with them so they can "show" the world they know what they are doing when really the have no clue. keep throwing that gc shit at me and i will give you the facts that gc is just in it for the joy ride of being in the spotlight. they had their 3 months of fame so now they are pissed off so now their "song-writer" is going to write more songs about depressed suicidal kids who are mad at their father for not letting them go to the 8th grade dance. get over gc, buy better cd's, and pay more attention to what you like instead of whatever the media will throw at you.
dude im not insulting you, im insulting people who like gc and avril just because they think its cool to listen to pop and pop-punk. if you want pop-punk that isnt gay, listen to new found glory. they are really pop, but its alot better than bands trying to get attention by being pissed off at everyone. it hasnt worked for me or anyone else i know.
