Unknown Scary Clown Movie

Can anyone please help me find the title to a thriller I saw in the 80's? From what I can remember, some escaped lunitics or prisoners find their way to a circus and steal the identities of clowns(after killing them). Now they stumble upon a house with three young boys there and begin to break in and terrorize and kill dressed as clowns. All this happens at night before the kids parents come home. This movie made me fear clowns, Not "IT". I thought it was Killer Klowns from Outerspace, but it's not.

"Clownhouse" (1988), written and directed by Victor Salva.

why not...........they gave Roman Polanski a fucking Oscar last year.

Same could be said for that assclown who made "Jeepers Creepers", as well as Pee Wee Herman, who was a big fan of kiddie porn. Who knows what he ever done.

But, aside from that, Roman Polanski did make a personal favorite, in "The Pianist".

Victor Salva is the same guy who made "Jeepers Creepers".

Also remember that Jeffrey Jones (look him up) was charged at around the same time as Pee-Wee, on similar charges. Depending on how far you wanna take it, there are a whole score of films to boycott if you don't want to support ANY known Hollywood pedophiles.

Also...I don't support Polanski either. He should have that Oscar stuffed where the sun don't shine.

I may be in the minority here.....but I see a big difference. So people look at kiddy porn.......that doesn't make them a pedophile. It means they are sick in the head.......but hell, I've watched stuff specificly to see people get killed (Nick Berg video)......doesn't make me a murderer.

Oh yeah.......I must have fallen asleep during that portion of Vulgar (which isn't even a damn horror film)........must have fallen asleep for that portion of Gacy too. Who knew he did all that? I thought he was just the average run of the mill serial killer.

Clowns are very disturbing as it is, withouth having to have escaped lunatics dressed like them.

I think i've seen that, 80s was a golden age for horror.

80's was indeed good for horror, but the 70's were even better.

I consider the 70s to be the best decade for horror movies ever.........eighties was okay but the overkill with the slasher shit kind of polluted the genre.
