Sephiroth, but basically anyone from the FF7 series. Only the FF7 series has the all materia(strikes everyone). All Sephy or any other FF7 needs to do is, Stop Time All then Death All. It the GAME it misses. But in real life, i dont think DEATH is gonna miss.

Kammue,the Main guy from X,his name means god's power or something like that.

Zaha Torte, from Socerer hunters, he was gonna have the God of Destruction serve him. The God of Destruction destroyed the world by just thinking it, a cigarette hit the floor and boom earth gone.

What About Blade out Technoman. Blade is covered in an impenetrable suit of armor + he moves super fast, has a hell of a spear, can fly in space and to top it off he also has a Hypercannon(From the last episodes)

For those newbies Technoman was aired in australia about 10 years ago.
And was called tekkaman in Japan.

Blade is pretty damm strong, the energy that creates his armour and fires from his shoulder cannons is from what I remember quantum energy. However he is not the most powerful. He has been beaten by his family, not to mention the military managed to reverse engineer his technology into two mech suits that could damage tekno armour.

I would also like to give my opinions on a few recurring points on this thread.
1, Sephiroth, yes he is cool, strong and powerful, he is also my favorite character HOWEVER he is not the most powerful. He has been defeated twice now

2. Goku, I will admit that Goku s one of the strongest characters in anime HOWEVER he is not the most powerful. By the end of DBZ Goku was no longer the strongest character in the show. Gohan, the fused characters and most incarnations of Buu were superior to him, and if people must use the Goku-Dragonball fusion at the end of GT I would like to remind people that he has never demonstrated any abilities in this form, and any use of this in a debate is merely unfounded opinion.

I still maintain for now that Akira is the most powerful being in anime but I am also now considering the Lord of Nightmares from Slayers Next

starwars Arucard he's a pretty powerful being, like the Vash the stampede even though he doesn't get hard until the end of the series. One of my favorites though is Kenshiro from fist of a north star he can kill people just by hitting them at certain points.

While I'll admit the designs are similar Chris, but Vash has nothing on Arucard. Kenshiro is cool and he has skill but there countless characters who could kill him just by thinking hard.
