I didn't rate BRII so much, but i do want to see the directors cut of the first movie.

Television series? God. The 2nd one bombed horribly. I actually own the 2 disc Director's Cut of the original, which is loaded with extras.

The film is a personal favorite.

I read someplace online that the Directors cut of BRII is a big improvement - and that BR is being made as a multi part TV series in Argentina or some place like that....

I've been lazy about getting the BR SE - and i'm backed out the wazoo with DVDs to watch, but I may pick it up this weekend now im reminded.

Is it still banned in the USA? We have even had it on Tv over here in the OTHER land of the free.

Battle Royal is a great movie. The story is good and the actors good play.

But the N°2 is...bad. Shuya become a terroriste of Liberty...the actors are very bad(exept Shuya) , and caracter of TAKESHI KITANO(who is dead in the first episode) come back just for one little appearance..........the game "Battle Royal2" => "Civil War"...very bad 👇

Very good film, but the sequel was really bad.
