right, you know how in potc there's a really big deal about the pirates code???
well did you know that in reality as well as having to obey the general pirate code, each pirate ship had it's own unique code which no other ships had which was set down by (and could be adjusted by) the crew of the ship itself ..... therefore, elizabeth was taking a big gamble when she did the parley thing - cos how did she know that the black pearl pirates hadn't set their own code to ignore the parley rule??
