Here is the background for WonderGirl: Athena Troy (...?) was always bored living on Themyscira, the island of the amazons. She always wanted to do more. After finding out of a contest to replace the current guardian, WonderWoman, Athena jumped at the chance. she immediatley began training. After participating in the contest she was awarded the gauntlets and lasso of truth along with, the strength, flight, wisdom and more of the gods. (goddesses)
