when did maglor rescue maedhros?? he was his best friend, but wasnt it fingon who rescued him from the thangorodrim and thus ended or reduced the hatred between their houses?

No I think it was Maglor.....
But... Maglor was a brother of Maedhros... wasnt it like Maglor thought its not possible to rescue him but Fingon did it and
