Alexis followed reluctantly. She felt the water lessen the beer's slight effect on her. The sea always made her more alert.

((and yeah, im back now))

Jules had overheard Dante and Alexis talking about her "crush." Jules had decided that even thought most people she knew were over crushes, she still had them. And yeah, ok, so she thought Dante was a little cute, who said she had a crush? Anyway, it wasn't her fault that romance was her thing. She hadn't really had the chance when she was younger, but now, she was independent and on her own and she took full advantage of that.

Alexis sighed. Once she was out far enough she caught a big enough wave that if she screwed up it would break her in half.

Jules smiled, staring out at the waves. She remembered learing to surf from her big sister when she was 5. Her sis had died a few years later. Jules brushed off the thought. For now, she would party. She stood up and went to where everyone was dancing.

After another half hour or so of surfing, Dante came back in and stuck his board in the sand. He shook the salt water out of his long hair and sat down next to Jules with a nod in her direction.

Dani pulled the ponytail out of her hair, slipped her hoodie on, and layed down on the warm sand. She pointed out the perfect view of the stars to Dante.

Alexis hadn't followed Dante to shore. She knew Jules had a crush on him and would let them flirt or whatever Jules did. She sighed and found the water suddenly boring. Looking up she saw all the others girls were at the beach flirting with the skaterbois. "lonewolf again, Ali." she whispered paddling towards shore. Once she was out of the water she walked passed the others and to the house. She left her board on the board and went to find her wax for it. She normally found herself like this. Alone.

When Jules saw Ali walk past her, she could tell that she was pissed. She wasn't sure if she was pissed at Jules or just in general. Jules was about to get up and follow her, but she stopped. It wasn't like Ali had just publically claimed Dante as her "property, Jules could talk to him if she wanted. She doesn't was any disputes in the house, but Ali shouldn't get pissed at Jules for simply having a converstaion with Dante. But fine, whatever. Ali could have Dante, it's not like Jules cared anyway.

(She doesn't want him though. He's just a friend!!!)

Alexis found her wax and sat on the steps. She started to wax her board. She wasn't ticked at Jules or Dante. She was pissed at herself. She could never go up and talk to a guy or girl. She hated eing antisocial , but she always had been. That's why she often found herself alone with her surfboard or cd player while reading. She sighed again and looked up at the party.

((ohhh ok, well this is like real life then, u can never b sure if some1 likes some1 like that or not))

Jules saw Ali eyeing some cute guy that was dancing. He took a step off to the side and Jules knew this was her chance. No, she didn't feel sorry for Ali, but sometimes, she wished people would do nice things for her too. "Hold on a second," Jules said to Dante. She walked slowly toward the guy. He was standing alone. "Hey there, having fun?" He smiled at her, and Jules said, "See that girl over there? She's on this show you might have heard of. It's called The Real World. She's such a sweetheart." "Really? You're not BSing me, are you? I mean, I did see her look at me for a sec. and she is really cute." the guy replied. Jules nodded and motioned towards the porch. The guy slowly walked towards Ali. Ali put a confused look on and Jules giggled. "Ok, back." She said to Dante and she put her hood on over her hair.

Alexis glanced up at him then at her board. SHe continued waxing it. the whole time thinking. I'm gonna kill Jules. I'll shove my snowboard down her throat she glanced back up shyly. "Um, hi, may I help you." she said trying not to let her voice show how nervous she was. Alexis could have sworn her face was blood red. She felt her cheeks were hot enough to fry an egg.

"What the hell'd you do that for?", Dante snapped, clearly angry. His hazel colored eyes flicked over to where the guy was talking to Alexis. He decided she could probably handle herself.

Jules turned to look at Dante, "Uh, hello! Ali's going into what could be pout mode (which we all do at times). And, I thought a cute face could cheer her up. Besides, he likes her. Why? what's the big deal?" Jules bit her lip.. Now she just felt stupid. She stood up, shook off the sand and walked back to the house.

Dante laughed quietly when she left. What about his hippie, tattooed, pot-smoking ass women were attracted to he had never understood.

Jules walked past Ali into the house and ran to her room. She took her acoustic guitar out of its case. She grabbed a pick from her pocket and began playing something she wrote.

Alexis watched Jules leave Dante and inside. She wondered if she had done something to anger the girl. "Would you like to come in? I need to check on my friend." she said lushing as she got up and walked inside. After finding Jules she whispered. "Ya okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine... Are you?" Jules replied.

"Yeah, I meant to thank you for you know trying to hook me with a guy." Alexis said sitting beside Jules.

Jules was touched [not literally, lol], "Really? I thought you be pissed for interferring or something. I mean, Dante is pissed at me already. I hope I didn't mess things up between you guys."
