Rages Remorse are you serious?
"they always shared all the knowledge with the public that wouldnt comprimise anyone or anything, even if these facts were very little or just a hunch."

"If they diddnt want us to know it many people wouldnt know it, and surley moore wouldnt. "

There's not outrage that the Bush team didnt come out during their campaign to say "oh hey you know we have made tons of money off of Saudi oil companies that have in all reality paid us for producing nothing". It's the American mass media's complete failure to cover this issue well. I mean Moore is only a so-so investigative journalist and he manages to find and to scream about these gross conflicts of interest. They purely aren't covered in the media, news networks would much prefer covering things like the Kobe Bryant rape case that really have a very minute effect upon society.

The only thing that you say that is 100% correct is "alot of the matieral in this movie, that tried so hard to bash the Bush administration was already known, or atleast should have been". Yes it should have been, but there lies a lot of the problem, it hasn't been pounded out and disected like things of almost no national importance are.

Much of the material he went over" the stuff that they dont want us to know" I already knew from simply reading the daily paper and bothering to watch CNN instead of MTV. I said should have been known for the ignorance of the american people to follow world views, and the distortion of the media. Not because there hiding these facts. all you have to do, and this is the big secret, read your paper watch the news, pay attention and read between the lines. yep thats it, theres the big secret.

calling moore hitler? wow, that's um...unfounded, the guys making movies and writing books look a lot more like hitler's cabinet than moore. let's see, you've got a convicted stalker with a camera being financed by a rightwing, antisemitic (arabs and jews are both semites and both apply) former internet Porn Baron, and a book using incredibly flimsy and tuely manipulated information written by a former homeless junkie and a former reagan assistant to the secratary of the interior (James Watt's I believe) who most likely committed enough crimes under old pruneface's presidency to have spent at least a few years in the slammer. and who's the best they could get? Penn Jillet? that is just f*cking sad. that's more pathetic than the republicans having to settle for a local band for their last election (even BB King refused). of course to quote Jello Biafra-"democrats have terrible taste in music"

Any comparison of Moore too Hitler is simply idiotic and warrants a swift slap to the face and kick to the groin.

if you can't tell, i'm referring to the respective "creative" teams behind "michael moore is a big fat stupid white man" and "michael moore hates america". as for moorelies and moorewatch, do you trust any sites that sell monogramed ronald reagan t-shirts and gulf war bubblegum card trading sets?

gulf war trading cards kicked ass. Sad but they still kicked ass. I think we need to bring back war trading cards, i mean nick bergs head would be the most valuable it could be a hologram, in one shade of light his head is attactched, in the other...well you get the point

Broken Johnson becomes the next person along to suggest that the only way to know your facts is to watch this film, or at least implies that if you do not watch this film you must be ignorant. This is getting so aggravating!

I have to agree with Moore when he refuted... well, not refuted but at least answered... on British tv the accusation that he was preaching the choir by saying "Yes I am, but the choir was asleep."

Just a shame that I am proibably going to remember this film more for the demonstration in reaction to it that people make no effort to find out what is going on in the world around them than for anything else, and being aggravated that because everyone seems to be learning it from an anti-Bush source that is the only angle they will take on it.

To all of those who think Moore fabricates truth, use some common sense. He attacks the most powerful establishments in the US (government, NRA, etc.) with facts and lets them sink themselves through their own arrogance.

I don't disagree that he has his own agenda, but if he was lying he would have been sued for slander a long time ago.

CNN is the government's ***** and is as biased as Moore is, but to a different agenda. If you want to know what's going on in the world, read info and papers that are published outside of the US. Then you will see that all the info that Moore put forth has already been reported, he is just tying it together and exposing the american people to it.

Ush> What your saying is very true. No facts or opinions or whatevers shocked me when I went and saw the film. I knew all of them before hand. But what I liked about it was how they were presented. Moore did a very good job of arranging then and being witty and such.
But one thing you have to realize is that Some/most americans WANT to be ignorant. They ignore the news and the paper and whatnot. I read somewhere that around 40% of Americans belive that Saddam and Bin Ladin are brothers-in-arms and that there are massive amounts of nukes in Iraq! It's just sad how much Americans don't wanna know. So it takes a film like F 9/11 for people to say "Maybe things arn't what they seem" I don't believe F 9/11 is trying to educate people, its trying to get them to educate themselves.

Tptmanno1 you said a lot of what I was going to say. Rages Remorse, you say that you knew all this before hand, and that's great, really though it is, I'm glad you inform yourself of what goes on in the world. But don't you realize that most people don't. A lot of the things brought up in the movie have been put on the news and in papers but not to the degree that it should be. In this country people become informed by redundancy, many of these issues seem incredibly important that many people know, but they weren't covered over and over.

Maybe I'm ignorant here, but I knew a lot of the stuff before hand, that's in the movie, admittedly I hadn't heard some of the details on a few things. But I never saw in any newspaper or on any news channel facts being assembled together, you hear a piece here and a piece there but never a fully fleshed out point like it was made in the movie on any of the major sources of media.

My point is people are lazy. But people seem to know all about Janet Jackson and the superbowl, Kobe Bryant's case and the Lacey Peterson case. It's the repetition of stories and points that the news channels can drive home. I am pretty sure why this film's name is taken from the book Farenheit 451 (a pretty uncreative move in my mind). It's basically slapping people in the face for purposefully choosing to be ignorant and have fewer problems by not looking closely at the issue.

Haha! I love the quote by Pete! The Who 🤘

From a related article

"Last year," he said in the statement, "the Who asked me to do a documentary on their career. I was sorry I had to tell them that due to my need to finish 'Fahrenheit 9/11' I would not be able to make their film for them. ... I am sorry I wasn't able to do the Who documentary like they wanted me to, but this is certainly no way for Pete to show his anger, and frankly it is very embarrassing for him to behave in this manner, as he is the greatest rock star who ever lived."

Hmm...Who documentary...Who documentary....Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah, THEY MADE ONE IN 1979!! Nice try, but it was called The Kids Are Alright and last year they even released a special DVD edition, so that excuse ain't gonna work with me.

prince got pissed at kevin smith for similar reasons, and kharma, I must object to your point for one reason, when it's in print, it's lible, not slander
-sorry spider-fans but as a future lawyer, i love that gag.

Townsend said, "But he'll have to work very, very hard to convince me that a man with a camera is going to change the world more effectively than a man with a guitar."

You know, I used to love the Who, but this self rightious pedophile (oh sorry, he was just researching a book) is starting to annoy me.

And thanx for the correction on that issue Darth Jello, but it is spelled Libel, just so you know for next time.

*passes BF his spiky groin-kicking boots*

don't you just love J Jonah Jameson?

it is sad that the majority of people get ther information on world views through word of mouth and assumptions.I mean if a simple film stating nothing more than facts that are shoved off as being secretive can change someone's views on the world, that is very scary. If Bush is doing such a bad job then why does America have the best economy in 20 years, one and a half million jobs have been created in the past six months, and if your a tax paying American then you have had a tax cut, all this while overseeing a war. If you dont agree with the war, that is fine, but dont overlook what bush has done. America is becomming a crazy place man. So many people believe that it was America's fault that 9/11 happend. More and more Americans are titling the US as being facist and remeniscant of nazism, what kind of shit is this?

Im not trying to argue with anyone, because God knows political arguments can be worse than religous ones. I am just simply saying there are always two sides to every story, and like Ush said, take the time to learn both sides and then make your decesion, dont let other people tell you what to think or decide for you. If it is on film, it is usually always biased, if it is in the news paper and sounds true many times it isnt, if it sounds false then amny times it is true, atleast this is what many retired journelists say

Leave it to the marines

yeah, they got it down. to bad marines cant vote

I bet they got paid money to hold that up to the camera.
