S.C.'s account was hacked by some person who was using it to bash people and spam places..this was a theory i had since the very beginning of the incident, and was proven several times
why you people are acting like it was his fault is a complete mystery, especially when the hacker admitted to using someone else's account in several of the threads he posted in...

First of all has no proof been providen that SC did not do the bashing and insulting himself. He could very well have had a bad month and acted out of character and projected it on the community. I will also mention since no one else seem to have the BALLS to do it that Striding Cloud has been INACTIVE FOR TWO YEARS according to himself and by coincidence returned during the brief period of time during these two years that he was actually banned.
Now with that part worked out, lets leave the land of theory and start venturing into the land of facts.
Striding Cloud returns, oblivious to why he has been banned and angry that he has been. He cast blame on not just one person, but whine to the entire community for something that technically at most could have been a moderators fault if a mistake had been made. He angrily confront the members for things they can not help, change or has had any involvement in. He break one of the rules that he as one of numerous should have known so well: Do NOT post non-RP threads in the RP forums.
Want to say "That's an insignificant rulebreak considering what he has gone through"? I bet you want to. Do not! He broke the rule and did so for the attention. He did not want just an answer, if it even is true that he had no clue what was going on. He wanted attention and a bloody high amount of it "Look at me! LOOK AT ME! I AM ANGRY! I HAVE BEEN TREATED INJUSTLY! ROAR!" Like Hell you have, SC.
Over to the ban and your defense towards his behaviour revolving it: When you register on a forum, you become responsible for the things your username do. It is written in your name and it is happening because you have registered. If you go away you either change your password to something so long and inconsistent that NASA would cry rivers trying to break it, or you prepare to face the concequences, since this is the Internet and SHIT HAPPENS! "It does not happen to me", maybe not but it did happen to Striding Cloud! (Or did it? Read the thrilling next chapter of our story)

KMC members, you can jump down from your high horses. KMC was once upon a time big, significant, active. Not anymore. There is no way anyone would benefit from finding the password of a KMC member since this little piece of waste is a dying world trying desperately to stay alive. We are not even a tiny little speck in the realm of communityes. So what does this mean? What is my point with saying this?
Simple. There are two alternatives and two only: It was either someone Striding Cloud knew, or it was Striding Cloud himself. I am placing my bets on Striding Cloud himself since the hacker was first and foremost attracted to the roleplay forum, which it is unlikely a random would know was the place Striding Cloud primarly hanged out at. Now there could still be doubts that Striding Cloud was the "hacker" since it was out of character, but along comes the next verification: Striding Cloud has been inactive for two years. He return a month in recent dates only to find himself banned. That makes three coincidences: He was hacked, he was attacking the RP forum and he decided to return not a long time after he was actually banned.
I am normally sceptic when a coincidence comes along. At two coincidences I start losing my scepticism and when there are three I am virtually certain of my thing. In my eyes there is one thing certain: Striding Cloud is NOT oblivious to what has happened, responsible or not. Striding Cloud did not return during the summer, or mid winter. Two likely periods of the year when you normally have nothing to do. He returned near christmas, one of the most busy times of the year. He and his hacker both. More coincidence. I am starting to suspect a connection.
Want to know a funny fact about this entire event? Pay attention now, children! You might learn something about paying attention.
* Striding Cloud was banned December 19th (Supposedly the hacker)
* Striding Cloud in his own words has not been active for two years
* Striding Cloud in his own words claim that when he tried logging on, it said his account is banned for another 19 days
* Subtract the amount of days remaining for him from the date he posted
* Striding Cloud in person posted January 23rd
* All this means that Striding Cloud was back absolutely lates January 4th
* This makes, with a two year duration as basis, roughly a two week gap (If not even less) between when Striding Cloud's hacker was banned and Striding Cloud himself returned
Now look at his post again. He returned because he was trying to roleplay. If he returned because he got an e-mail notification that he had been banned, even I would have bought it.
I am not going to lie to you all. I have NEVER really been the trusting kind. This could all be that distrusting part of me playing its hand again, but really folks, think about what I have said. Especially you MadMel.
And lets not forget that Striding Cloud was rude when he returned. Innocent or not, that is a problem in itself.

Neither of you even brought a rational theory of SC at all. The assumption of him "snapping" out of nowhere due to cyptic, personal issues just seems very unlikely and difficult to understand at the same time.
Bottom line, I really don't see why you waste energy on something so trivial with endless possibilities... Never mind that thread he made, we are all more than capable of ignoring it. And yes, Plenty of KMC accounts have been hacked in the past, hence why the assumption was made by multiple members here...I really don't see how SC would question his ban with the most realistic tone of confusion. However, if I were to give my guess, just as everyone else is, I bet it was a hacker. I have known SC longer than any active member on this board and I really doubt he would snap out of nowhere...he still roleplays...even after all he said about roleplaying being for losers....Hmmm.....Again, this is way too trivial and I don't think this should matter. Especially assuming based on his returns...I can say other wise and I am sure everyone else would agree with me:

Come on, Stiding Cloud has a GF, friends, and a life. IF I were in his shoes (Just like you, I will play the first person perspective) I wouldn't just sit on the toilet one day and just get a brilliant idea to spam the threads with insults and get into the mood of doing so.

Your case, your perspective faulter under the basis that you exert little to no knowledge on the human mind. Many disagree on the fact that psychology is an accurate science, but you do not have to know psychology to know that a personality is never static. We are molded by the world we live in and the events that we experience.
Had someone two years ago spoken to me as I am today, there is no way they would have figured out it was me. I had a life changing experience not even one year ago. How long did Striding Cloud say he was away again? Two years? Rhetorical question.

I expected him to deny the actions and it happened. And what really causes me to lose any belief in your credibility of this argument at all is the fact that you are expecting most humans to snap through a forum site....over every popular social networking site (which would be most possible), he chooses to snap through a forum site with little to no friends to care for him here. You are underestimating his behavior as you underestimate intelligence and opposing potential (as if he were a 12 year old). I am sure you are basing him by his posts and the moment his account was hacked.
I am not trying to base my assertions on who he once was but the guy I still keep in contact with. Like a friend you talk to everyday. The human mind encompasses standard thought most, if not all the time but behavior is another factor. I understand the human mind and this is very obvious to be nothing to consider that ability. I have conversations with Striding cloud through PM here...Hence why I have concluded this behavior not being his own at all.
I am trying to realistic...this all seems highly unlikely to me still. 😬
I am not saying anything. I am presenting a perspective that no one else has brought up to discussion. Perspective does not equal truth, but that does not mean it can not be. It is a theory much like the one you presented, only less in favor of the victim of the story.
The significant difference is that you base your theory on him as a person. I base my story on what I see. I did not know him, which put my theory at a faint disadvantage in leverage, but I dare say I know humanity quite well.
