"Very Funny"

the new tag line for the "trying too hard" station known as TBS.
"Very Funny", what the hell does that freakin' mean?
God, who the, for lack of the capability to swear, fudge came up with that line?
what the hell was or is going through his or her mind?
the whole "gosh darn" world is falling into freakin' peices. PEICES!

tbs isn't that bad, they have some good movies on ocassionally and Sex and the City reruns.

the shows are good. that is not what i am attacking.
Sex and the City is pure genius.

As if any of any other network slogans have been particularly endearing?

HBO--"We're talkin' serious comedy here!"....."It's not TV--it's HBO"
NBC--"TGIF"......."Proud as a Peacock"
FOX--LOL Sunday"..."Just one FOX"

Just to name a few.

yeah but TBS is especially bad. At least, "Proud as a Peacock" {?} is an actual saying.

Yeah...I can't believe that was the only other one for NBC I could think of...it's at least 20 years old (which makes it long, long gone into the memory hole)!
