What if Mark didn't really join Saint Dane consciously? I was reading the book and I noticed that towards the end, Courtney tells bobby very briefly about a project Mark and Andy had been working on called "Forge". What if Mark thought if he went back in time to first earth he could upgrade the technology so that the plane wouldn't have "Disappeared" and he took Andy with him cause he didn't know he was Saint dane and Andy is his partner for "Forge" and Andy already knows about travelers from stealing the journals previously. I dont know if that makes sense but no matter what I don't think Mark would knowingly go against Bobby, his best friend. But then again he used the flumes even though the acolytes aren't supposed to without a traveler. But who knows?
Anyone else got theories?

Well, in a letter he left to Courtney he never said he JOINED saint dane or anything to do with saint dane actually, he said "Please Forgive me" then a few seconds later saint dane comes through the flume and when questioned about mark he says "Lets just say our friendship has entered a whole new phase" So its probable and Bobby and Courtney think its probably but nobody knows yet.

I finished the book at 10:30 tonight... I prolly would've finished it sooner if
1)i didnt want sit here for another year to wait for number 9,
2)if i wasn't so damn busy
3) if I was feeling better (in the mental sense)
I dont know I read the book and i was in the mid-200's maybe and i was like "No Way!!! I have to read on !" and then when i got toward the end, that number 1 thought popped into my head.
So i slowed myself down, but i couldn't help it. I read the end. I was surprised by lots of things. I was surprised by a million things in the book, which made me LOVE the book.
(While reading the book, i only found two mistakes... at least i think the first one is a mistake, but the first one is at the begining of the book, while

when bobby and courtney were in third earth, the chapter beginings say first earth in which i still do not understand.
the second mistake is a gramatical one. I thought it was funny. He said "Thing were..." (near the end of the book) and with the following words, its should've been "Things were..."😉
My only problem was this... THE ENDING SUCKED!!!!!!
I thought that no matter how it was put, D.J. couldn't have changed anything with it other than moving the last two chapters to the first two chapters in the next one, but i was upset they were there...
the words, "Remember me." are stuck in my head and the stuff bfore that. That is what i call an absolute perfect ending right there. I couldn't make it better. SO Bobby's ending was AMAZING! the book itself's ending sucked.
I dont know i was just ending a sad song which probably helped the perfect ending in my mind. I loved Bobby's ending i just dont believe it.

On a totally unrelated note. I think the book is flawed... at the end Bobby said that he trapped Saint Dane on Ibara. And if we all use logic, it means that he trapped Saint Dane long before he wrote the journals in which we know that he is already trapped when Bobby sends it. But when Courtney got it, I thought Andy Mitchell(S.D.) and Nevva were trying to get to the room where the three of the acolytes were. So does that make sense?

yeahh the ending wasnt as great as i hoped for...it was kind of confusing actually
and has anyone else noticed that there have only been 9 territories introduced? Ibara is just a part of veelox, its not a territory in itself
so i think the last territory will probably be saint dane's
and i'm sure Bobby will be back, you can't really drop the main character of a book and still expect to have a storyline
I cant wait until the next one though, as always

Ibara is island but in world of Veelox, so whole 10 territories are one planet, Veelox??? time everything change u know... i think Zadaa and Denduron can be same on planet, but no one knew for sure....
