Lydia bit her lip. She had stopped running. "It's just, I don't know." she confessed. "I mean you two are his best friends, and if you think it's outrageous, what would he think, if he found out."

James blinked. She had misunderstood why they had laughed.

"Oooh, no. We usually laugh at everything, crushes on our friends and such. Don't know why, we have since we all met." He tried explaining.

Lydia looked at her feet. "It's alright. I know he doesn't even notice me." she said before looking up at James. "He's probably to busy with the other girls."

James' eyes almost popped out. "No, you would probably want to be more worried if you had a crush on me or Sirius. Lupin isn't busy with other girls, believe me." He said, giggling.

Lydia gave a small smile. It was the first in along time. "Thanks." she said.

James became confused again. "Erm....for what?"

Lydia shook her head. Popular kids were definately not the smartest. She let out a small giggle. "For being supportive." she said. she started to walk away again. There was no way Rhemus would notice her unless she hurt him like she did when she tackled him.

James follow, arms behind his back. "No problem," He said. But then an idea struck him.

"Hey, Lydia...if you're worried about about Remus not noticing you, I could help a bit." He started.

Lydia spun around facing him. A worried look crossed her face. "How?"

"Hm...Let's see..." He pondered out loud. "Maybe later I could mention your name, then see where that leads us? Don't worry, if he makes fun of you, I'll turn him into a box of rice," He added.

Lydia laughed. "Okay, but I still nervous." she said. "I might be sick, If I'm around when you mention me."

James nodded, winking. "Oh, I'll make sure to tell him while you're present," He said, knowing he might get a hit or slap from her after that comment.

Lydia giggled. "Of course." she said. She pulled her wand out of her pocket. "Accio cupcake." she said making a cupcake float out of a first years hand and to her.

James laughed at her. "Well, compared to what you were like when I first met you, I'd say some of my personality is rubbing off on you," He said, smirking. He was creating another James.

"You would." she said tilting her head to the side as she bit into the cupcake. "How so?"

"You aren't as shy, a bit. You just stole something. And you aren't blushing after I said I'd tell Remus for you. But I guess you still need some work. Personaly I walk through the halls hexxing people I dislike." He smirk. "Then again, I don't think you are daring enough for that. Yet..."

Rhemus stopped near James and Lydia "Jesus James whats happening why where you laughing your a$$ off...Ohhhh" Rhemus suddenly Blushed "Now I get it.."

Lydia turned to look at Rhemus. "Hey." she said before looking at the ground.

Rhemus never had anybody like him ever before... He didnt know what to say! So he didnt say anything..

Lydia felt bad. She glanced up at James then looked at Rhemus. "AM I that obvious?"
