"Lydia came out of the room followed by Lucius. She was holding her sore arm. Lucius was bruised cheek.

"What the hell hapened to both of you?" asked Remus.

"Nothing." Lydia said.

"Nice duel, cous." Lucius said as he headed towards his house.

"Cassie, Potter is right for me, right?" asked Lily.

Cassie titled her head at the question in confusion.

"You were dueling" asked Remus

Lydia nodded. "Um, practice dueling."

Remus looked at Lydias sore arm "Dueling?!?!?!!?!?!?!?! ISnt it dangerous!"

"Um, sort of. But it's okay. Lucius and I do it all the time." Lydia said blushing slightly.

"Your cousin did this to you?!?!" said Remus astonished still looking at the sore arm.

"It's just sore, Remmy. It's okay." Lydia reassured him.

"Cassie, are you even listening to me?" asked Lily.

Cassie nodded. "Yeah, I think so," she said dreamily, laughing. "He loves you, Lils. He's never chased a girl for this long-he's been after you since 1st year!"

"James is crazy! Anyway, look at him," said Lily as she gave a sigh as she saw David Longbottom. Her heart soared in delight.

(Let's give James some competiton for Lily shall we?)

( 😂 Ok))

Cassie followed her gaze. "Oh come off it Lily! James is WAY better looking...maybe a bit more cocky, but still..."

"But still. . ." said Lily.

A very drenched James came storming into the common room. He was cold from head to toe and he gave Lily a wink. She turned her head.

"Fine, give me the cold shoulder, Evens," he snapped irratably, clutching something wriggling in his pocket.

Lily rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. She shook her head and calmly walked out of the common room.

"Whats her problem?" He asked Cassie. She shrugged, trying to look innocent. But James was more clever then that. "Cassie..." he started. She looked away. "Nothing her problem...Shes just stressed from...homework..."
