Those were actually graphic novels from the Batman comics. The idea of "Batman: Year One" being adapted as the next Batman movie has been floating around since the last live-action piece of crap they made. The current story for "Batman: Intimidation Game," or what little I can discern of it, is set as an origin story and the beginning of Batman's vigilante career. It's not the same story, but it's the same idea.
"Batman: Year Two" featured a villain called the Reaper. The man who was the Reaper, and also the father of Batman's love interest, was supposed to be in this new movie and played by Viggo Mortensen. It has thankfully been announced that Viggo will not be in this movie, and it's probably because they would either have three villains, or they would have one character from the comics who wouldn't be doing anything interesting enough to merit paying Viggo Mortensen his wages.
