Ronald Weasley/Rupert Grint [merged]

Started by tigress13 pages

he is though aww Rupe

i think rupert is great, hes a brilliant actor and its not his fault that u cant recognise this most of the time because the scriptwriters cut all ron's good parts out of the films and give it to hermione!!!

I agree they shouldnt play Rons character down its plain wrong to do that warner bros should iron their hands at such a miscarrige of justice

Hopefully they will not cut his scenes in 'Goblet of Fire'. I am kind of hoping he will come into his own as a character and not be seen just as Harry's other friend.

they arent cutting his scenes they want to turn him into the comic relief when hes as important as the others, there is a petition to warner bros on this thread about it early in the pages.

billylover, I agree, they shouldn't cut any more of his scenes, and from what I have heard, maybe he will have a more important part in the neext movie.

...🙁...i like hermione 🙁..are you not on my side cool? ~cry~

What are you talking about? Of course I am! I was talking about Ron, not Hermione. I fancy Hermione, actually. She is super cool. 🙂

Ron and Mione should still have major scenes in GOF as in all the movies, especially as they all row in this one unless warner dont leave it in which I hope they do, I love reading the arguments and their making up. The fight after the ball should be wicked.

I just want to see the scene where Ron finally realises Hermione is a girl, and she says, it took you four years to figure that out????

Hi everybody.. I'm baaaaack!

Rupert is involved with a new project outside of the Harry Potter films.

Tho he has been busy filming for The Goblet of Fire, Rupert made some extra time this month to voice for a documentary on Peter Pan for the BBC.

Rupert has provided the narration for this program as Peter, along with Jane Horrocks (of Absolutely Fabulous) as Tinkerbell.

Excerpt:
This documentary celebrates 100 years of JM Barrie’s magical & much-loved character thru the eyes of Peter Pan himself.

Rupert Grint (who plays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films) and Jane Horrocks (BBC One’s Absolutely Fabulous) lend their voices to the ever-youthful Peter, and the irrepressible fairy Tinkerbell.

The two friends fly thru the history of the wonderful Neverland and its characters, from the inspiration for the story, to the 1953 Disney film, right up to the present day, and the current feature film Finding Neverland...

'Happy Birthday Peter Pan' will be broadcast on Sunday, the 2nd of January 2005 at 5:45pm on BBC1.

Oh, and advance Merry Christmas to everyone here at KMC! ^_^

Rupert's part:

Rupert Grint, actor
He'd done only the odd bit of drama at school when Rupert saw on Newsround that young actors were wanted for a Harry Potter movie. So he put together a video of himself acting and rapping about playing Ron Weasley - and at 11 landed his first film role. He is currently shooting the fourth in the series, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire. In between Potters, he appeared in Thunderpants with Simon Callow and Stephen Fry, and recently recorded the voice of Peter Pan for a BBC documentary to mark the book's centenary.

The experts say:
Rupert is remarkably free of ego, according to Harry Potter producer David Heyman: 'Success has not gone to his head. He is a natural comedian, and his future is what he makes of it. There will always be a need for actors of his great instinct and talent.'

Rupert says:
'I hope to carry on playing Ron and to get the opportunity to do more comedy. I'd also love to play a villain at some point.'

Being 16: best thing...
'I'm a year closer to being able to drive. I've finished school, so don't have any more homework.'

...and worst thing:
'Shaving. Having to think of smart things to say in interviews like this!'

My 16th birthday:
'I was filming the latest Harry Potter in Oxford and had a huge cake and BBQ with cast and crew."

Yes folks, he's shaving now -- well, helloooooo puberty! 😛
