There is a FAQ poll where you can vote on what question she'll answer next, and one of the questions is asking "Is Sirius Black really dead?"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't JKR already say, before OotP came out, that the character who dies, isn't coming back? If this is true, wouldn't that question be kind of redundant? Or does anyone think that the reason she is putting it on the site is because a lot of people may not realise that she already said this? Just ignore me. I'm babbling. (But really, don't ignore me. I love the attention.) 😛

You can open the door with the DND sign on it but it wont tell you anything important until it is off and you open the door. She said it is just a filler with the DND sign on it.

well, i didn't know that you could open it w/ the DND sign on it...but i'm pretty sure when the sign is up, we might as well not even try, like DanZeke said, its just a filler.

And in regard to the whole Sirius question...i still think we've got reason to believe that Sirius could be back, plenty of ppl do, so thats prolly why the question is still up for grabs...and wasn't there some comment on her sight that said something about that mirrior Sirius gave Harry...and that it will be useful later...i thought that kind of hinted at Siruis' return.

I suppose you could be right about Sirius. Assuming that Harry uses the mirror in the future books, though, do you really think he'll be able to communicate with Sirius? What if Sirius didn't have a mirror with him when he fell through the veil? Can they still communicate? What if the Sirius in the mirror is just a "psuedo-Sirius" -- like a wizard's portait that can converse with people who are alive, despite the fact that the person in the portrait is passed on. The "psuedo-Sirius" isn't really Sirius, but he has all of his thoughts and memories. Maybe that is what JKR will do, but as I have said before, you never know with Jo. 😖hifty: Now that's what I call food for thought! 😛

but amburger1984..wow! definately some food for thought! 🙂 i think i get what your saying...and honestly i have no clue, what i've said all along is that i think sirius is coming back...i just don't know how! 🙂 and the whole mirror thing just perked my interest, cuz she basically said that the mirror is going to play a role, just not in the way we might expect.

And those portraits have always boggled my mind...theres definately something we don't understand about them...
