I agree with BingaBonga on this one. Our pruposes are to serve and worship God and to bring others to Him so they might be saved from eternal suffering.
You say it isn't 'fun'? I consider surrendering to Christ the best thing that has and ever will happen in my life, being happy or having fun doesn't fulfill my purpose, my purpose is to live for Him and to share Him with you. Being a christian isn't like being a slave, I have never met another christian who ever regreted becoming one.
Finding Christ fills you with peace beyond understanding, and I know I can always run to Him when life is too much to bear.
I guarantee you will never find true peace and joy with out God.

Tell me this, do you christians like to boss others around, tell them how to live thier lives, and threaten them by telling them they will suffer for ever if they do not find God?

Show some tolerance and let us have our own beliefs!

That's funny, since turning away from religion and becoming atheist I've been a lot more peaceful than before...maybe it's because I don't have to live up to some silly expectations to impress something that doesn't exist.
Life isn't always fun, that's life. It has it's ups and downs.
