She stayed close to him, but not so it was awkwardly uncomfortable for him. She wasn't doing it for protection anyways since she did a quite good job taking care of herself. Instead she was doing it because he was cute, both in attitude and appearance, but she knew as she'd continue to drink through out the night there was a good chance he might find out knowing how she felt. She knew that, and so she kept reminding herself to be on her best behavior. She had too many people walk out on her in her life, and she was not going to fall for someone who would do the same.
"I'm good." She told him in response to his question of if she was warm. Her hands were freezing however and she stuffed them into her pockets, but overall she was warm. His accent didn't help her attraction to him, it only made it worse. Yet she knew if she advanced on him it would end in heartbreak, as did all her other relationships. She pushed all of this out of her mind and just thought about what she would buy at the liquor store other than cigs.
Still on the night before
"Good" Davey said with a laugh
He looked her over, she really was a cute girl, she had even put up with him this far, but he was a bit worried, what would happen when his past caught up with him. It was branded onto his shoulder in the tatoo, ever since his mother had run off with that... foreginer... His dad, he had always been racist, then after his mother ran off, he couldent take it anymore, and after one drunken fight too many he was in his grave. All of this had badly affected Davey, even tho he now regreted what he did, a lifetime was hard to erase.
Anyhow he was thinking too hard, he glanced over at Frankie again and smiled then he saw the bottle-o coming up
"Here we are luv"
Then he rifled in his back pocket and pulled out his wallet

She walked into the store behind him and glanced the aisles. She could feel the cashier's eyes upon her, but she knew her fake ID would cover her. It hadn't failed her yet. She pulled a bottle of Shmirnoff Ras (sp?) off the shelf and followed behind Davey. She made sure not to follow close enough to be an annoyance. At the register she'd buy her cigs.
Grabbing a six pack of beer and one longed neck bottle out of the fridge and walked up to the counter, he paid for it and stepped out of the way, thinking to himself what they could possibly do, the pubs around here were crap, and he hated clubs.
"Where to now you think?" He said and opened his long neck bottle
She paid for her bottle and a pack of Newports and walked out onto the sidewalk with him. She shrugged and thought of where they could go. "There's always the park." She joked. "I usually hang out at the cemetary in the back near the woods. There's supposedly an old crematorium in the woods somewhere around there, but I've never seen it."
Lena got up and picked up her bag , she walked out of the barn only to find rain and Evan and Tanya , she looked at them alittle and walked off to town, she never really gotten close to many ppl besides her 3 friends and she doesn't plan on getting to know the others since she doesn't trust them just yet
