Green Lantern vs. Magneto

Mags doesn't have near as many of the high end GL feats though...........................as long as he just tries to wear them down instead of overpower them he has a chance at winning...................BUT GL's max feats are higher.................I said that twice so no confusion🙂

Blair, to be fair, the bulk of the GL corps are mere dolts with rings..... DC writes them that way.The big 5 are a few steps above. But i'd give Magneto great odds versus Gardener or Jade or maybe Kilowog. And the whole mutant stigma doesn't keep them from being extremely powerful at times. Some mutants have cosmic suited powersets, like Magneto or Cable telesques. People think that mutants are low on the foodchain, but many can give your favorite character a fight or win. Don't sleep

dont sleep? I know mutants can be powerful (my favorite hero IS one), but GLs are space police for a reason. The reason being to be able to take on the likes of such mutants. Gl high feats FAR surpass those of Magneto and thats that.

There's only one thing that Magneto can honestly do to take out GL, and that's the same thing he did to Phoenix (Jean Grey) to kill her. Well, it wasn't Magneto, but Quan-Yin Xorn, but it's the same powers. He'd have to let off an electromagnetic burst inside the brain to give him a stroke. Other than that, he's proper f*cked.

magneto would trap GL in his shield and have a nice trip

magnetos shild is much stronger as well. lanterns superbowl ring can only hold the shield for a short period of time.

Which GL are we talking here? Because a GL at full-potential(not making baseball bats and boxing gloves) could do crazy things.

It's plasma of some sort not really energy. They also have very good control of it.
