I'd hate to break it to ya, but... Putting up a thread about not hating someone is basically you ASKING to be trash-talked. Not a smart move on your part at all...
I don't really have anythign against 50 Cent or other rappers. I just don't listen to them. But, it is quite true that riches, fame, and being shot doesn't necessarily make good music.
Here's my view on 50 Cent. I honestly can't understand how this guy is so rich. I mean, with all his royalties and such, shouldn't most of it go to his hospital bill (I mean, he got shot 9 times!). 😄 But really, I have the most respect for the old days of Gangsta Rap. This gen? Not so much... To much talk about meaningless slabs of flesh (or in English, girls) and money. It's kinda like the ambiguously gay guy desperately tryin to prove he isn't gay. And 50 Cent is right there, with all the other rappers, save he is glorifying the fact he got shot (we get it, we get it!)
But, if you're into 50 Cent, more power to ya. Slipknot is one of my favorite bands and I get BSed, a lot for it, so I know how ya feel.
