Elvish word game

Not exactly.
In Sindarin, the original word for Orc is "orch", "Yrch" is the plural (Legolas uses it in the books and I think also in the film!); but the elves of the First Age often called them "Glamhoth" which means "Din-Horde" (a collective plural word, can't be used for one single orc).
So - both are correct and both are Sindarin 🙂 one is just rather like a - nickname.

There is no Z in Elvish, at least not at the beginning of words (though found in imported words like Ezellohar < Valarin);
