Winamp...

Why does everyone like WinAmp? There's nothing special about it in the least (except the fact that it plays PSF files, but that's besides the point.) Overall, Windows Media Player has every advantage over it. Can someone tell me what's so cool about WinAmp?

Winamp is pertty cool, WMP wont work on my comp anymore.

I'm using Media Player right now 😊

looks better, more opacity and style options....better layout, easier to navigate media library, CD ripping options, quick burning, Searchable media library, none of those stupid flashing swirling colours.

all in all its just a better layout than WMP

I actually use iTunes for music now, since it's the software my iPod uses ✅

yeah, but now wmp 9 copy protects EVERYTHING...so its annoying...i rip using nero 6 ultra, use wmp for music and mpegs, n use power dvd for dvds (obviously) and quicktime for .mov files...i also have divx pro for divx files...
i use the best program for each thing

exactly, I got...radioactive...or somthing for my layout...

I have DIVX Pro and QT Pro too, obviously for the respective files.

WMP9 doesn't copy protect everything.... see attachment. It's called "options".

what is this winamp? 😮

I've been using winamp since the the turn of the century 🙂

I think its great, simply perhaps because of the skins which you can get
