Batman vs Captain America

I thought this was a "Cap against Bats" thread, but everybody just keeps talking about Wolverine.

great matchup. i was looking forward to it in JLA/Avengers, but was severely disappointed. if there was no prep time, id say Captain America, in a close one, just because he is an enhanced human(but i still hate the guy). with prep time, Batman(Batman almost always wins with prep time)

Every time i have seen these fight something always happens so you never really get to see a clean victory so who do you think would win?

cap and batman in fighting abilities are at the same level. Cap sorum only put cap with the perfection of a human body just like bat has trained to reach it, and cap only have a shield, batman could use so more gadjets, for example some type of gas like he did, with spawn (altough spawn would and did kick his ass, no question about this one)

if the fight was only with punches and kicks i would say a tie.

If it were just a fist fight I would have to say Captain America only because he is enhanced by the super soldier formula and Batman is just a human near physical perfection. On the other hand, if Batman knew he was going to fight the Cap. he would win w/his gadgets and stuff.

This would be an epic battle. I would love to see it.

I say Batman, in a else worlds comic, they were matching each other move for move, That Wayne said it was pointless to go on because they be fighing for ever.

Wrong, batman says that cap could eventually win although it would take to long, could win is different from would win.

well yeah because basically all Cap has going for him against Batman is strength and durability...other than that, Batman is his superior.

how is batman superior there both evenly matched on a one on one fist fight cap would kick his ass
