Wilco

Has any one heard of this band? They are really good. Theeir best album is 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot'. Theyt have a new album called ' A Ghost is Born', which is also good. Just say if u like them or not.

I'd put "Summerteeth" right up there with "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot"

They're pretty popular so there has to be a few fans around here, right? I've loved them since '97 or so, great band. It's ridiculous that there isn't a thread yet.

Yeah, I like some of the stuff they did with Billy Bragg. Mermaid Avenue is a great album, and Way Over Yonder In A Minor Key is a beautiful song.

maybe im wrong but wilco doesnt really strike me as folk music.

Wilco's very much a folk rock band. 90% of their stuff is acoustic, and they do a LOT of shows.

I never got into them, personally. I'm not much for alternative/indie, on the whole.

oh man, summerteeth is unbelievably good. it's so...fcking...good. i'm not the biggest fan of a ghost is born, but summerteeth is top ten material, and yankee hotel foxtrot is very good in it's own right.

New album was streamed on their website on Saturday. I really like it.

the cover is good, and so's the title. "sky blue sky". what era of wilco does it sound like? i hope they go back to their summerteeth/being there sound.

PS: if you were in fact born in 1989, may i ask where you plan to go when you graduate?

Sure, I'd say it sounds more like Summerteeth.
