(here's what draven was saying to imogen earlier...)

"How come?" asked Draven. "I never truly had an accent before, unless I had to fake one in certain countries that I lived in over the years."

"I was raised in a school for mutants, so contact with the outside wasn't easy, or encourages," she shifted uneasily in her seat, "Well, given the human/mutant situation at the time."

"The love and hate relationship between mankind and us...Not uncommon. I've had to deal with that all my life. Ever since I became one when i was like...*pauses*...25. Man, you should've seen people back in the old days and how they treated our kind!" said Draven.

Imogen was surprised to hear how many could relate to her.

"Its a shame, really. I wish it could have happened some other way..."

She respectively trailed off, not wishing to bring up old wounds.

"To have to deal with people trying to slay you for money or for the medicinal goods that your limbs could make...," reflected Draven, leaning back in his chair a bit.

Nic looked over to Imogen, "I know what you mean... the past can be a bi..." Nic caought himself and glanced at Integra, "...bad expierence."

Imogen supressed a smile as Nic's correction

"Back in the Middle Ages, I almost lost the skin on my neck and some toes that would've been my fingers. Villagers thought that could heal the sick...but they were so, so wrong..." said Draven softly. Recalling how close those enchanted blades came at him.

Nic got a stearn look on his face, "to kill for a reason isn't a horrible thing, but it HAS to be for the right reason. not just because you dont understand it. which i'm sure why you," Nic looked at Draven " have been hunted for." Nic was think of how he was brought up... what they trained him for and to do.

She became silent once again, not sure what to respond with. "I'm sorry?" What can you say to something like that?

"No, I'm sorry. I was out of place. But what those people back in the middle ages, that was for the wrong reason."
