I have NO idea what you mean about those who supprt TPM being 'impartial'!

But I think it was a good movie. Personally, I think anyone disliking it is being unfair.

I thought TPM was very good. And Qui-Gon's character I felt was important in telling Obi-Wan's story during that part of his life. Obi Wan couldn't come busting out as some great Jedi without a teacher as he is one of the major players in the PT.

y´know? I used to think about TPM as a BAD SW movie, but later I realized that is a VEEERY GOOD MOVIE. Why? Just look at Palpy. Look what is REALLY happen there. The boy is important? nah, not really. Is a common boy doing things that boys with an unusual count of midichlorians do. And is a good pre-chapter for who he nbecomes later.
Is the JC important? NOPES. Is nice to see how it works, but the movie don't meant to show us it.
THE REAL GOAL (like this, with BIG LETTERS!!!!) is the pollitical maelstrom that

palpy/sidious is making to get the presidency of the senate, and beguin his raise to the absolute power. One step at time. TPM: becomes supreme chancellor. AOTC: "special" powers for him... EP3: EMPEROR, RULER OF THE GALAXY. YYYYIIIIPIIEEEEE!!!!!! 😄 😄

So, this "little" thing has changed my vision of TPM. and I truly believe that THIS was the real point of TPM, or the REAL phantom menace.
And in that new "vision" i think that TPM is GREAT!!!!!!!
