Greenday may not be "nu" but they aren't what many would consider punk either. They're pop-punk and they know this. Doesn't make them a bad band.. but they are hardly rebellious punks.

the song "nobody's home" helped through my "issues"....funny about talent...those lyrics spoke directly to my heart (..."she's lost inside, lost inside"...)...I think she should be the new Britney Spears...or star in a movie...she's great...not sure if she's responsible for the lyrics but it's a great song...and this is from someone who likes music from the 1960s-now...that says alot...i can care less if she fits into the punk crowd, i like Pink, not sure if she's a true punk in the teen social crowd, but some of her songs are pretty good too..

The lyrics "she's lost inside, lost inside"were probably referring to a maze... That's the sort of depths her music reaches. If you feel Lavigne's music helped you through your problems then I'm afraid to tell you that your problems lie a lot deeper.

I think the song is fairly clear on what it's basically about, (and if it's of any significance, the song's video does a good job of reflecting the song's content in some way), and if someone can hear a message there that speaks to their life, then that's a success.

Avril supposedly writes her own songs and lyrics, but there's others as well that help with that...so I don't know how much is just her.

She's got a couple good singles though with some great vocals...but a lot of stinkers too I think.

I've not actually heard the song. I didn't even know she was still producing music. She became nothing here after Skater Boi or whatever. I'm simply based my comment on tracks like that.

Ok man i don't like what she has become.She WAS my role modle till she became all trashy.Her new song Girlfriend is ok...but the wayshe dresses now is out of hand she is being like all the others.Im ok of her geting over the ounk stage because it happens to every one.But being trashy o come one,yea her new song rocks but why she hafe to dress like that?

beacuse shes in a scene that adapts to the fashion trends to stay relevant.
