No, A.P. = "Advanced Placement."
I've had to read it over the summer for A.P. English. (Essentially, the jist of the course is this: If you pass the course and the exam - which costs $80 and is University-level - you get a credit towards University/College. I tried to get out of A.P. English, but they wouldn't let me, because it had been my first choice.)
