Was ok, mentioned The Smiths at least, two things annoyed or irritated me though.

That also annoyed me, just thinking about all the good bands (BJM, Velvet Underground, etc.) that make and made sooo much better music than him.
Maybe the question should be rephrased as so :
"How would you describe the kids that blindly love your band (for the sake of being associated with your “goth”–like image and for your awesome MTV videos) and all the garbage you create?
Then his response would have made more sense.
Yeah… The Smiths and MCR should never be brought up in the same sentence. (< this should be the last time, or God will destroy us all)
About the drugs thing yeah… bands like Bands of Gypsies, Velvet Underground and Black Sabbath … they never did anything “worthwhile” because they did drugs. Gerard Way should just let the big records executives shove their hands up his ass and make his mouth sing/ say what they want him to, like the good little corporate puppet he is.

I'm a fan, but I'm not into that.......
That just makes me ashamed.....
I dislike MCR. They haven't really impressed me much with anything they have put out so far. I see lots of their fans running around everywhere and I am wondering to myself, "what's the big deal?"
IMO they are a mediocre band, not terrible, but terribly mediocre; to the point where their songs are similar, and it gets really old really fast.
