I liked the hulk, except for the graphics. He looked like a poor man's shrek. I mean I think the hulk is awesome, but they should have an actor play him when he changes. Like the old school Tv show. yep yep.

Thats an interesting thought although I think that perhaps some animatronics could do the job very nicely. (Ex. Jurassic Park, Mighty Joe Young, etc.)

Anyway I still think that there plenty of other villains out there that would be better choices than Sandman for Spider-Man 3.

I personally wouldn't mind any of the super villains you guys said being in the film. I think they are all well made characters, and even the ones that aren't would look great in a movie with the graphics and all. all they need to do is just change the villain's background a little to make it more modern, like make them know Peter in some way, like what they did with Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2. (though he was already a great villain to begin with)

Sandman is one of the mortal villain to Spidey,Hulk and Fantastic Four. so if you look the profile of Sandman http//:www.samruby.com/Villains/Sandman/sandman.htm

Theres no way the Hulk can be done justice if played by an actual actor... he is to powerful and destructive to be seen as a normal looking human... it would look weird seeing Lou Ferignou throwing a tank around, i think they did a great job with the hulk CGI wise, but i do agree that it could of been a little faster paced and shown more of the Hulk... which i do think they will do in the 2nd movie... oh and they have to do away with all those wierd science expirement scenes that show weird fungus and frogs exploding just really weird... overall i thought they Hulk was a good introduction movie and should get better with each new hulk movie

Actually, I think they purposely made it look like the video game hulk. they should've made him look a little more realistic.

I was just thinking.. it isn't outside the norm to cameo their asses off in a movie. That could be kinda cool. have a few known bad guys pop up and Spidey puts the kibosh on them really quick, making you wonder after a few of these appearances, WHO IS THE REAL BAD GUY???

That is a very interesting thought and idea actually. I would suggest an appearance by only one villain though and that supporting villain could be Scorpion. They could have Spider-Man stopping the Scorpion from robbing a bank just as he did in the 90's animated series although the circumstances could be different since they already used the same one in Spider-Man 2.

As I have said all along, it needs to be animatronics and CGI for complexed actions and movements such as jumping very high and being hit my dangerous objects such as an army tank or helicopter as we saw in the first Hulk film.

hulk more realistic? i sorry to be rude but...ARE U RETARDED?
hulk was one o the top best CGI i´ve seen in a movie, the flesh translucid and green, the dust on his hair, making it look dirty, the muscles, his breathing, his flesh transpiring, his tear in the eye, u must be really fu*** retarded to say sth like that, and he doesnt look like the video game, the video game looks like HIM! and frankly and dont think so, i think the video game version is much more comic like.
i only disliked when he got huger like a tree size when fighting the dogs, another thing i disliked.
when he was 3 4 meters, he looked pretty cool, and i think that how he should be like in next movies.
and back to spiderman, if u wanna discuss hulk go to his thread,

Hulk looked sooooooo fake in the movie.

wow..this thread is totally off now.
back to topic please

u need glasses if u think he was fake, either that, or u are completely ignorant on CGI human anatomay and how dificult it is to duplicate.
paooooola.........

Okay back to the thread... The sandman is a classic bad guy and can main event a movie. I wouldn't mine seeing the Lizard Or even the hob goblin in smaller roles, but I think its a don't like the idea of 2 villains in a film. What background do you think they will give the sandman? Anybody think Peter will know him some how?

The one I thought of last night, would be to have Dr. Connors and Peter working on an assignment with neogenics...William Baker could be the test subject for that, and then everything can go awry and you can have the Sandman that way. Maybe, if you wanna do something with foreshadowing, have in the background a bunch of lizards in their containers with sand and rocks and stuff. Sniff...I miss the chances when it could've been Venom...lol.

no i d rather see sandman as a natural mutant than having another experiment going wrong, frankly thats getting old.....

yes it is
maybe he could be intentionaly made by someone...maybe kingpin? or even harry... say he couldn't beat him himself so harry makes a guy into sandman to help him take out spidey

Nope, watch it GLS... I mentioned the Kingpin and everybody flipped... It must be taboo to have a villain who was seen across many comic title appear in more the one film...uuuuhhhhhh NOT!!!!

If he's made by someone, thats still the experiment thing. Only difference is that it isn't a "gone wrong" one, but I doubt he'd sign up for something that he knows will screw him up that badly. Whatever they do, they have to make it realistic, because the first two were believable, and now with a guy who can shape-shift...they have problems on their hands.

well, Scorpion was kind of aware what was going to happen to him if i remember correctly..but he was tricked as well i think

oh and Pancho, i dont see why they wouldn't want a great villian like Kingpin in the film. to me he was the one who made Daredevil watchable. that was the only part of the film i enjoyed.

True, I did forget about Scorpion....ah hell they should've just made it Scorpion and Lizard lol. the battle of the animals, a scorpion, a lizard and a spider lol. Still...I don't know much about Sandman...but I think if they make it like some random thing that isn't believable, then it'll lose all believability. The first two were very believable...as are most of the Batman things. If you have a villain that seems like it could really happen, its more menacing than having like, some Joe Blow guy walks down the street, gets sunburned and becomes Sunlight Man and can shoot laser beams out of his eyes and whatnot. Doc Ock's story particularly was done so well that there is a possibility of that actually happening (maybe not the tentacles with the AI, but everything else).
