I'm sorry but that was a huge part of the spidey series. A few villians would team up and try to take out spiderman. It's only natural that they should try it in the movies. Shit they did it in batman. Granted they fu$$ed up that series. Any way they left themselves with so many options for the 3rd. I think that with all these options they have they could at least open with him fighting lizard man or something.

What series is this?? If you mean the cartoon series then that is irrelevant.

The Spider-Man movies are based on the comics not cartoons.

Though with some of the things Sam Raimi did it makes you wonder do we read the same comics as him 🙄

Do you own they Spider Man DVD's? If so check out the extras and you'll see. They made mention that they planned for the first spiderman movie to be Doc Oc and Goblin etc.etc

Oh yes I know that.

But the reason they scrapped it is because they wisely realised there just wasn't enough screen time to do two villains justice along with Spidey's origin story.

And of course I own the Spider-Man DVDs 😉

Well they have to screw things up to make them appeal to everyone. Like what they wanted to do is focus more on peter parker then Spider Man. I think if they did it right they wouldn't have to focus on Peter. I mean everything evolves around him and people closest to him. Spider Man plaays a huge part in that and I don't think that they enforced that enough.

I kinda figured but you gotta make sure.

Doc chill out. Personally I think Vin would be nice but my friend told me Hell no and I acctually picktured vin in Venoms costume....not a nice sight...

Sonny if you read the Spider-Man comics you will see it is perfectly simple to have a balance of Peter Parker/Spider-Man/and the villain.

Thats what I'm saying! I'm also saying that I don't think that there was enough action. In the second spiderman they focused more on peter parkers relationships. they didn't balance it.

I was tired of looking at dreary Dunst walking around dressed in clothes that looked like she had found in a bin at the salvation army acting like a glorified drama queen.

We needed more Spidey and definitely more Ock!!!

He and Sam Raimi said Ock didn't die.He disappeared 😄

And he asked Molina would he like to come back in a future Spidey movie.

Two villains will hopefully work in SM-3.
