Yeah, you can hope all you want, but they are prone to do whatever they think looks good. Just once I would like to get to do one of those blind test audience things and get lucky and pull a movie like SM3. Hand me my pad and pencil. This is the closest thing to change that we as fans can effect. I read that in the Jet Le movie "The One", there was a scene in which Jet is doing an extended kata that was pulled and reshot because the audience didn't understand its meaning and laughed at it. That sucks for Jet, but empowered us.
OH, BTW, I don't give a damn about them getting married to comment on the earlier thoughts. I too watch for the excitement, not the matter of romance... just to be clear 🙄

Sandman(sp3 costume) is different from the original. He has a t-shirt, its not exactly the same, but very subtle. Sam Raimi will make sure the villains do not retain their original or similar costumes. Its in his nature. He only cares about the spiderman costume and himself.
