Threads Going Downhill?

Am I the only one who thinks that the OTF threads are going downhill? They for some reason don't seem as appealing to reply to. Maybe its because I've been here a while and they look kind of same-ole same-ole. But I'm thinking that they may just be getting more desperate and seem to try to hard. What do you guys think?

I been on the boards a while and would occsionally look into the otf, all i used to see were threads about sex...that seems to have cleared up
so getting better 😊

Sex topics are more interesting than some of the current topics. There is more humor to them and sometimes more meaning IMO.

too many copy cat threads comin around...theres like 10 picture threads n a million vampire threads...

if you think these forums are bad check out the LOTR or pirates of th caribean. its all ORLANDO BLOOM IS MY HUSBAND I SAW IT I NTEH FUTURE! or its the annual lotr letter game or some shiet lol.

Yes, this entire place is a little different now [in a bad way]. None of the topics are no longer interesting except for the occassional few.

Thats another thing I hate. Not to offend anybody, but... I think it is flat out retarded how obsessed some people get with movies stars on these forums (especially the girls). Everywhere you turn, its Orlando Bloom this Orlando Bloom that. Or even Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, and that little tiny piece of crap that people dare to call an actor Billy Boyd. What the hell has he been in? LOTR trillogy and M & C. It makes me sick. I don't even go into the forums that make me see those names yet I want to puke when I see people with those names as their posting names (sorry if that offends people). I go into the Celeb forum every once in a while and I see the Orlando Bloom threads with like 2394 posts or some shit like that. That is ridiculous. I can only imagine the LOTR and POTC forums. 😘

I do agree that there is a good amount of threads that just seem boring to read and even tougher to start any conversation in.

Something that could make threads a lot more interesting would to bring back the political forum but from what ive read it didnt work out the first time.

I've managed to have had some that didn't get closed. We showed how civilized we could be and it went on for several pages without bashing. It was nice. There were others that I tried to start as well but they got closed without being given a shot.
