True or false The Fantastic Four will be a great film?

I'm thinking 'Avengers' but perhaps they could pull it up to almost 'Batman and Robin' level if they really try.

This will probably be a waste of Jessica's talent. Still, I know she'll be great in it. I'd just prefer her in a role similiar to 'Dark Angel'. Still, she probably doesn't want to get typecast. You have to respect that.

Like I said in the other thread, her movie repetoire is the likes of Honey and.......well Honey.

She's now in the movie adaptation of arguably the world's most famous superhero collective. I'd say that's a step up.

No offense to Jessica Alba...I just can't see her as Sue Storm.

Tonally, the movie is, according to Arad, a bittersweet comedy, something Gruffudd was keen to confirm. "There's quite a bit of comedy in this and there's that romance between Reed and Sue Storm. And there are four of us, so we're all relying on each other. I have no idea where the script is going to go, but there's certainly plenty of action and us getting a chance to use our superpowers. It's going to be interesting because there are so many fans out there of the original and what they do and I hope they try to remain true to the comic."

Indeed, it seems it shall, right down to the costumes. "Yes, it's going to be a traditional, Spandex, blue Lycra suit with black leather boots. So I'm looking forward to that," laughs Gruffudd. And will he be sporting Reed Richards' traditional graying temples? " I think the idea will be that once they're exposed to the radiation up in space that turns them into the Fantastic Four, as a result of that I'll start to have the greying hair. But I think it'll be subtler than it is in the comic books. More dignified, like George Clooney!"

lol. im waiting too see it before saying it sucks, but ill admit it doesnt look too good.

jessica alba is a good actress but i dont buy her as a mother or a blonde.hopefully if we all keeep our fingers crossed this wont turn out to be antoher X2 where they had the movie overflowing with unneccasy charcters

she doesnt become a mother till later on. very later on.(did that make sense)

I wish they would seriously reconsider b-cuz Mike Chiklis is and looks older than all of them. moreso he looks like some creepy old guy hanging out with a bunch of young kids. So i dont buy him as the College roomate of this lancelot guy who looks much younger, and most importanlty Jessica alba looks too young to be this lancelot guys longtime sweet heart. and unless there gonna cast Johnny as a teenie bopper I sincerely doubt that jessica havin a yonger 20 somethiing brother is gonna be beleivable
