Fantastic Four movie disscussion

Have you seen the new Internet Trailer? It's really outstanding.
The Human Torch sayin "Flame On!" after Sue warned him, bursting into flames and flying fast in Manhattan was very cool, and also the dear old Benjir saying:
It's Clobberin Time!
Before punching Doctor Doom in the face. Also it's very spectacular when Ben jumps from the window and fights with Doom while they are gonna landing on that building.
Also Doom looks great.
He was their leader, he's the owner of the Doom Enterprises, he was their leader, but the accident give them powers and also changed his biophysical structure. He showed superstrenght when he grab for the neck the doctor and throwed him against a wall. His armor also emits energy/electrical blasta, but it seems it's a device to channel the energy that comes from Doom's body itself.
Every Doom's line in the trailer was also wonderful:
It's a terrible news.
Then he killed the doctor.
Or when it's showed his skyscraper and he sayed:
I always wanted power...
Then the camera zoom on the metal mask.Like in Spider-Man they show the evil character and his "alter ego", I mean, he looks at the mask like a way to obtain what he wants.
P.S. Can someone tell me what exactly the Invisible Woman tells Doom?
I've understand:
Victor you always ..... you were a god.
Let's not fight.
No.Let's.

I watched an episode of the old old FF animated series and it was so lame

i just saw that trailer and i thought hey could have thrown some more funds in the budget for a better look for the thing, i was like lllllaaaameee! my most pressing concern is that a die hard fan of FF like me might be turned away by that, i really hope not.

with regards for the cartton that wasnt all that lame to me, seeing as how it came out in 1966, it was cool for its time i think. the one from that era that was lame was hawkman cuz they actually showed his wings flapping--flapping! and breathing in outer space

Stan Lee taking a break from filming to take a photo with the cast of FF.

The Thing looks way too small, and the Hulk looked way too BIG!

you guys are never happy, the Hulk was fine and the Thing looks good to... No matter what they do no one will ever say dam they did a great job! They tried CGI ppl thought it was to fake they try a rubber suit and ppl say he is not big enough... What if next time they just dont try, Then we'll all be like sh*t should of shut up

i think that the actor that's playing jonny storm is a bad choice. He doesn't even look much like him and the difference in age between him and Reed is only a few years. What do you think? Having said that the film looks awsome i can't wait for it to come out!

i think johnny looks ayyt....the falme on effect is really good....but i dun like how they did thing...at all...looks liek cookie dough..just wanna break bits off and eat em ^__^

Funny you mention that since I have just learned from the executives down at Fox that the Thing's name in the new FF film is actually the Gingerbread Man.

I think they could managed both flaws if they used animatronics.

Perhaps, but this movie hasnt even come out yet, i mean dam at least lets wait and see before we jump to any conclusions on what they should do next

I agree, Thing looks too small.

This isn't some new suggestion I came up with, I have long been recommending that animatronics be used in films of this nature (Hulk, FF, etc.) before the FF film ever even began to film.

The hulk looked too big. the thing isn't supposed to look like the hulk but look smaller. i think the thing is the right size. its his power within that matters and if u watch the trailer obviously the truck feels same way!

Oh! well im sure your right about the animatronics, but dont you think they are a little to robotic for a character like the Thing or Hulk. Imean these are humans that need Human attributes and characteristics not a dinosaur like in Jurrasic Park or a Tree like in LOTR. Im not sure im ready to leave a protagonist of a movie up to a robot.

i dont want thing to be ridiculously large but he's suposed to be well over 6 feet and a lot bulkier in the movie but after careful consideration and seeing a full frintal pic of him i change my mind, he doesnt look so lame after all🙂

An interesting point, although you also have to remember that Jurrasic Park was done 12 years ago and a film with Hulk or Thing now would have a bigger budget and have more advanced technology and techniques available in their arsenal. Second thing is that it would not simply be plain animatronics, it would also be a blend of CGI although limited. The CGI would mainly be used for sequences where the character(s) must jump large heights, take devastating attacks, and similar instances. The best example of a character on the physical scale of these characters being done with animatronics is Mighty Joe Young although now outdated and lower budgeted.

True it was a long time ago, but LOTR was only made about 3 or 4 yrs ago and while Treebeard looked excellent for a Tree he still looked a little mechanical... but yea if they could mix the two with some CGI and some animotronics then i can see a decent result, especially with all the Advancements. oh and Prophet are you the same Filmprophet that posts all those new updates on Mega Marvel Movie Update or ComicBookmovie.com?
