"darkhorse has alien, predator and hellboy and image had spawn so i do know about them"

Only because they have been mentioned in threads on this board. Infact, it was you who asked.

I hate wannabes.

wat ignorance i don't have the money to by comics or i would and star was is darkhorse

You don't have $2.25 to spare on a comic book? How do you have a computer?? Not only that, but in comic books stores, they usually have a 25-50 cent bin of old/less well known comic books, which are usually pretty good.

I just told you that Star Wars was Dark Horse.

ya well im only 13 its not like i bought my computer and im broke i spent all my money on my paintball gun and on playing paintball and maybe if all those little comic organizations combined they would be as good as marvel or d.c.

If you can't be bothered to read and get involved in the actual comics why do you deserve our wisdom?

Some of them are better than Marvel and DC, but aren't around anymore. Valiant, Chaos, Maximum Press, Epic comics are all gone. Know why they didn't last as long? Ignorant people only looked for comic books with the Marvel or DC logo on them.

If you can't pick up the comics, but love the characters, try checking websites. You know, Marvel and DC have official websites, so do Dark Horse and Image. Top Cow has their own website too. Valiant does too.

Getting asked "what r their powers, what r the villians" gets really annoying.

well sorry wat r the sites then?

FF

Fantastic Four has a budget even a fan film is afraid of come on $80 million? The first X-Men cost $75 million 4 years ago! This will be released 5 years later its just plain embarassing. 😠

abe sapien thats the guy from hellboy

Image are great.

I like the idea of this movie. The FF have been around forever, and yet are still fairly obscure. The characters are great, and it'll be interesting to see how they pull this off--SO MUCH of this is gonna have to be CGI--and it just wouldn't have been possible before now. Still, it'll cost an absolute fortune to make, and I already klnow that it won't generate the kind of revenue that a movie like this should make--but that makes it all the more appealing.
I'm not sure about the casting--all I've heard so far is that Jessica chick is gonna play Sue, and all I can say is that her screen test must have been really impressive, because I can't think of anyone in Hollywood who less resembles the Invisible Woman, but I'll try to reserve judgment until I actually see her on-screen. I've been thinking a little bit about this movie, and have been trying to think who would be good to play Reed, Johnny and Ben.
Admittedly, the comic-book hero is a difficult role to step into, of course, you need an intelligent, yet cocky type for Mr. F--and who could play the Human Torch? Grimm ought to be easy enough to cast--just a big guy with a NY attitude, and a biting wit. My oldest son loves Johnny, and I know that his enjoyment of the whole movie will hinge on the way they portray him, but he's only 7--so his standards aren't too lofty.
It's far too soon for me to even speculate on the plot, but if anyone knows anything, I could always squeeze in some time to cogitate a little bit about the subject.

i thought they had secured actors in the other three roles.

they have! i think (aside from Alba) they are excellent choices (espacially for Grimm)

Ioan Gruffudd - Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic
Jessica Alba - Susan Storm-Richards/Invisible Woman
Chris Evans - Johnny Storm/The Human Torch
Michael Chiklis - Benjamin Grimm/The Thing

THE FANTASTIC FOUR

NOOOOOOOO!!!! PLEASE DON'T MAKE THIS MOVIE 😠 🙁

Thanks for the info--I haven't heard squat about this yet. And, to be honest, I have no idea who those people are. Talk about out of the loop. Any idea what the premise is gonna be?

well i know that Ioan Gruffudd plays Lancelot in King Arthur and Michael Chiklis is the guy for the tv series The Shield

OK--I know you meant for that to help me, but it seems as if I just crawled out from under a friggen rock. I think I may have seen the guy from the Shield before...but I still obviously don't know him from Adam.

Nice av, by the way. Is that the "hustle"? Do the hustle--doodododododododoo, OK, I just totally dated myself--and only those over 25 will probably even understand that vague 70's reference.

if you go to images.google.com and search there names you can find some pictures of them

"Grimm ought to be easy enough to cast--just a big guy with a NY attitude"

This is a stereotype that happens to be largely true. I've been there.
