I really am not sure if it'll work in older versions or not, I suppose you'll just have to give it a try and find out.
How do I come up with this stuff? By playing around with PS and seeing what happens. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's crap. The crap no one gets to see 😛
WOOT!
I only realized who was in your sig when I read the lyric under it. So of course I had to comment on it. It's amazing
Lacuna Coil rocks more ass than Ron Jeremy and Jenna Jameson combined. Which is a few million asses, at least.
Also, regarding Flash, actionscript can be a ***** by itself(those error messages are really a pain to figure out), but matching everything perfectly into an animation is still harder. I'm working on a music video animation for Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out. I'm open for sharing tips on problems or whatever, just give a shout
Actionscript is what's giving me troubles, I'm working on a website layout for it, and stuff doesn't want to cooperate....scroll buttons won't scroll, I click link buttons and it doesn't load the page it's supposed....those are my main two problems with it right now. Once I get the basis down for creating site layouts with it I'll start working on figuring out animations.
Thanks, btw 😊
The way I learned actually is by starting with animations, haha. Not quite up to weblayouts yet though. It would actually seem easier by starting with a simple animation, working on linking scenes, making buttons etc. although, to each his own.
My first animation was a crap 10 second bouncing square and leet parody, then i worked up to buttons(i still have both) and now im creating (fat stick figure)characters. the hardest thing i find is getting a camera feel to the movement in complicated animations. it's a ***** to work frame by frame for 2800 frames.
Im not sure what the scroll problem would be, but I've had the button problem before, my solution was that i had forgotten to put quotes around the name of what i was linking too, stupid little things like that. check even the most inane details
I've been double-checking the code and all SEEMS right...but I've emailed my one friend who's really good with Flash to see if she can help locate the problem.
I have used Flash a bit before, I've actually had it for about two years, but all I did with it before was make a really simple animation (an angel turning into a devil), and a little button "game".
I've taken a traditional animation class before and yeah, doing everything frame by frame is a complete pain in the ass 😂

It sure is, I use Director, which makes life a little easier, especially since it has Lingo scripts, which are similar to many other computer languages. Director isn't as powerful, but once you become good with parent, and child scripts, you can pull off some pretty cool things. Animated interface design is a breeze with it.
