All you do is count up from decimals...it's easy, right?

It's not necessarily easy, because you can have an infinite number of decimal places... 😕

Like this:

could be your first number...

That's not my point, my point is that you can't start at any one point, because theoretically, you can have an infinite number of zeros before you get to a one. Decimals don't have a specific "starting point" like whole numbers do.
