cyclops has more experiance but i like chamber way better. i will go with chamber.

I'd say Chamber. He's basically pure psy-energy and can blow the crap out of things with his mind. Cyclops can only blow the crap out of things with his eyes. Therefore, Chamber wins.

Ok, since I am a Chamber fan 100%, I'll say Chamber here. Sure, Cyclops has his eye beams, but Chamber has pis fire. Plus LOTS of angst. That makes for a pissed off Cockney furnace of anger! Plus, I don't know if you guys know this or not, but Chamber is *technically* dead (he has no heart, thus no heartbeat, which declares him dead), so I'm not sure if Cyclops can really hurt him. It's got me thinking, though....

History: Jonothon Evan Starsmore was invited by Professor Charles Xavier to attend the newly reopened Massachusetts Academy shortly after his mutant powers manifested. When his mutant ability manifested itself in a large blast of psionic energy, Jonothon blew a hole in his body that stretches from his mouth to his lower torso, and cost his then girlfriend, Lady Gayle Edgarton, the use of her legs.

When Jonothon arrived in the United States, he was attacked at the airport by the criminal known as Emplate, who feeds on the bone marrow of mutants. He was rescued by the rest of the students who were attending the Massachusetts Academy, the team known as Generation X, which he joined soon afterwards.

Currently, Jonothon is learning to control his mutant power, suffering a setback only when, in a panic by being kissed by Husk, his power activated and destroyed the Girls Dormitory in their headquarters.

Cyclops has more combat experience. He has seen more, therefore would be able to make rash, necessary decisions with a greater ease.

You know when it usually comes to strong psi warriiors hey will usually take the match. However, Cyclops is the lead x-men with ass of experience against telepaths, expecially telepaths with ability of psionic blasts. Cyclops has fought many people with this ability, many fighters much more poerfull and devestating than Chamber.granted this was with the team of the X-men,but he has the experience none the less. There is a reason why Cyclops was the leader of the x-men you know. I think alot of people also forget just how powerfull Cyclop's optic blast can be, his powers unleashed knocked down Gladiator,juggernaut, and ripped a hole in Nimrod.Gladiator even commented on scotts eyes have having the potential of having the same energy of a dying sun.

Chamber cannot enduce thoughts other than through trickery. even so Jean and Xavier has taught scott ways to block the mind against telepaths. scott simply has to stay away from chamber's psionic blasts, and if the comics has taught us anything, they teach us that when scott get's pissed off and willfully removes his optimizer, you dont want to be in his path no matter who you are. Scott is no pussy, just a great leader, who cannot afford to be the bad ass that lies within to often.

Yeah, Cyclops has lots of experience, I'll give you that. And yeah, his optic blasts are powerful, I know. But don't underestimate Chamber. He may be young and not as experienced as Cyclops, but he can hold his own. He defeated Omega Red and saved the lives of all his teammates of Gen X by himself. Omega Red tried to drown him, but he has no lungs to drown with. And Red's death spores didn't affect him, either. And when it came right down to it, Chamber kicked his ass all alone. His psi fire is pretty much unlimited. We're talking bionuclear psionic energy here. There is a theory that Chamber can't die. So, even if Scott killed Chamber's "body", the theory is that Chamber would still live, but just as a being of pure psi energy. Interesting, no?
