I have a question about downloading fonts. How do I download and use them?

to download fonts go to http://www.dafont.com and look for cool fonts....and to install then ...open up ur control panel and open up the fonts folder and drag the fonts you just downloaded in there

how do you get animated sigs <30kb?

Reducing the number of frames or colors.

I reduces it to greyscale and 3 frames...still 187 os

Yikes.

That's the only way I know of, really....it's pretty hard to get an animated image to a small size.

And I generally don't have the patience to deal with trying to optimize stuff, so I rarely bother with animations.

You're right..sometimes it's really painful to optimize some sigs... 😬

Especially some of my recent ones, they have so many layers that usually in Photoshop I have to lower them to 50% quality to get them under 30kb 😬 the one I made for Paola got terribly pixelated and I had to resize it smaller to get it small enough 🙁

Here's a tutorial I made....it's pretty big, so if you've got dialup you'll be waiting a while for it to load. I made it for Photoshop CS2, and it's how I made my current signature. I tried to make it as detailed as possible, and split it into two parts because of the size 😂
