Talking about illegal stuff.

😐

Ok, I wasn't trying at all on this sig, it was a test to figure out how to have sigs that aren't just rectangular...so when I saved it, I saved it as a png and it looked good and then I loaded it into my photobucket and it made it go back to a rectangle shape...how can I fix this? Please help!!

All images are rectangular in shape. Making it another shape with transparencies doesn't change that, it just appears to not be rectangular.

Ohh, ok, thanks Lana!

You brought it upon Yourself. 😬

Question:

What can I save as to keep my layers without sacrificing quality? Because right now, I only work with jpg, gif, and png. Gif can save my layers, but the quality takes a dive. And jpg has to flatten it to 1 layer.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you want to use this sig or save it to edit later on?

Save it to edit later. To use it, I can always save as jpg, but often I want to go back and edit sh*t and I can't because it would require too much work now that it's 1 layer. It also means I basically have to create all my sigs in 1 shot. I can't make part of it, save it, then work more on it later. So time becomes an issue a lot. 😬

You use gimp. I'm sure you can save as .psd on GIMP! 😄

psd?? Sweet. I'll give it a try. Thanks. 🙂

Anytime.

I might as well help while i can't make sigs.

Save it as an .xcf File.

That's Gimp's Version of the PSD.

psd seemed to work fine when I tested it, but I'll try xcf as well. I'm sure they're both valid and useful. Thanks.

Is it just me... or does anyone else ever have problems making text look nice?

Yeah, text sucks.

Which is why I always keep it simple.
