does anyone know how to make sigs using microsoft paint?

Yep, but you can't edit as you wish like with Picture It! with MS Office, you can only crop and/or give the dimensions.

well, I gotta start somewhere. Tell me how? and details, please, I am a complete novice. 😮

I would reccomend downlaoding GIMP, then. It's a freeware program that's like Photoshop but more newb friendly, and it's cheaper. Much cheaper.. like, thousands cheaper.

Because it's free 😐

I was just wondering if anybody could please help me out, I have 4 questions could someone help me out? I would greatly appreciate it (I only have access to photoshop BTW)

1) How do you make an image pop out of a sig?
2)How do you add animated gifs into your sigs?
3)How do you make a sig border like a triangle, or like it is part of a broken wall?
4) How do you make cool text like some sigs I have seen?

So if you could please help that would be most appreciated; thank you very much in advance.

Okay, I hate when people just quote their posts. It's extremely rude.

Try checking out some of the tutorial sites that we have listed in the Sig Resources thread.

There are some of them.

Not really rude, it is a feature that is used, no one said anything to me not even no I don't want to, that is rude to ignore someone.

It is not rude if someone doesn’t reply back to you, many of us are very busy or don’t feel like taking time to help with multiple questions that would take a long time to describe. Your questions are very general and to help show some examples of what you are looking for.

Attitudes like this (which are rude) is a good part of why most of the people who used to be active in this forum and help people out do not do so anymore.

If you want a favor, you can at least take the 10 seconds to repost your post properly.

And generally the best way to get help is to start by helping yourself. There's tons of tutorial sites, some of which I have linked. Look there first. This is not a help desk.

Then why do people ask for help; why is it called Sig help, it is obviously a "help desk" by defination people ask other people for help, you should not have made this thread if you don't want people to ask for help, as for me I don't find it rude at all, it saves time to quote.

But I can also understand where you come from, I shall use your tutorial links, however I do not know if they talk about pop ups or Gifs in sigs.

The point of this thread is to ask for help on specific things that you might not be able to find a tutorial for. The stuff you're looking for there's a billion tutorials for.

And I say this is not a helpdesk because it's not a thread to go to to expect everyone to solve your problems.

And it doesn't matter if you don't think it's rude to simply quote your post. The one who's opinion here matters does.

And i was just asking for four pacific things, never mind....just forget that I asked.

Four specific things of which there are tons and tons of tutorials. Seriously. It is not at all hard to find a tutorial for transparencies, animation, or text.

Thank you, sorry for before when I snapped at you.

Edit: Nevermind. Disregard this. Already figured it out.

Hello, which free program do most people here consider the best sig-making one?

I'd say GIMP but GIMP it is not the most user friendly software...It takes time to master it...

Yeah, I'm I've used GIMP in these sigs I've made. It's a bit hard, to be honest; I'm still nowhere near good 😛

Anybody recommend some awesome tuts for GIMP beginners? 😄
