Meh, CS used to be really cool, required alot of skill and strategy. Now in order to get a decent score you have to camp and wait for the enemies to come to you. They're implimenting too much realism in the game in exchange for fun.
Also, the guns are extremely sloppy now. Aim means nothing - Aim anywhere near the persons head, and one of the bullets will be a head shot. It's to bad, because the game was pure gold back around beta 6-7.
Also, the fan base for that game is terrible, some of the most childish, rude, and idiotic people you'll ever encounter on any game will be playing that game.
I agree yet disagree. The aiming is fine, but I did prefer the first release of 1.6 when you were able to shoot through the shield visor. The user base does indeed suck badly as all you get are people going "You bought awp, bam , slapped you to 5 hp cuz Im a gay admin and I whine about getting killed" or people going "You're a stupid (insert racial slur here)!" I really only prefer to play when my friends are playing.. other than that I dont bother.. the game is boring at this point in time. CS needs to die and something new needs to happen for the people that still play it.
Oh, I was putting down CS for it's numerous other poor changes it's had throughout it's time. Guns becoming sloppy, the game requiring less and less skill as it "progressed", rewarding people more and more for playing in a cheap manner or camping.
I wasn't blaming the game for it's poor player base, but it's still a valid complaint, since it's such an important aspect of the game. People seem to be more worried about insulting other players with simple and dimwitted insults like "nOOb" rather then actually playing the game. It's unfortunate. And changing servers most likely won't solve the problem. Dipshits like that are in ever server these days.
i have been playing the Specialists witch is a mod for half-life multiplayer but worcks on CS its much better ceck it out
