this song was mixed and produced by johnny 'j' at death row records in 1995..
tupac was just released from prison with a contract with death row. suge knight had posted a 3 million bond or something like that..for a 4 or 5 record deal, if tupac had did that than he would be a free man. a trip to the west coast, where Snoop, Kurput, Nate dogg, Dre...and where some of 2pac's best records was released.
still thinking about biggie and puff daddy and that 'changing' drama in NYC where tupac was gunned down for 40 thousand in jewelry, and the rumors of biggie's street thugs bragging about "knocking" 2pac out.
forced 2pac to write a song with venom and hateful lyrics. the words and the anger was real, the danger was really there. tupac spit on everyone from, Lil' Kim, Junior M.a.f.i.a., lil' Cease, and Bad Boy Records.
that was perhaps the final straw for them killers or whoever shot this smart young thug in Las Vegas.
A damn shame, tupac is no longer rapping in some recording studio in L.A., and also a shame Biggie ain't around, either. they both had the same look on life. I ve listened to both their records and I heard similarities.
2pac was never always like that. he had a side where he loved the people around him. the gentle side with that crooked smile. as said in his song " changes"
