Scary/frightning books

Does anyone know of some really scary but good books?

one particular goosebumps book was pretty good when i was like... 7 😮 but only one, the rest were pretty lame 😐 i think it was something about piano lessons... can't remember 😮

"Piano lessons can be murder" i think that is. As for the rest, they just dont scare me. They have people falling off roofs but surviving in like, the end of every chapter. Good ideas, bad presentation.

Yeah if you want some pshycological horror pick up The house of leaves, by Mark Danielewski. this is possibly the best haunted house book that just mind f*ucks your head. The story is very intriguing. this sint the best part of the book though, the best part is how the author involves the reader into the book. Sometimes you'll be turning to the next page, and you realize this is a page that you had already read two chapters ago (things like this happen when the character in the book is starting to think he is loosing his mind, sometimes the pages will be upside down, or you will turn a page and it is nothing more than a giant letter. It really is a great story with an equal great expierence

I find the Fright Time books quite good. But for a REAL scarefest, read books by Anne Rice, Mary Higgins Clark and, of course, Stephen King.

PET SEMETARY!!! I read that in 5th grade (years ago) and I was so scared I kept reading it so I could stop at a not so scary point. 😂

Two words.

Clockwork.

Orange.

when will people learn to respect the genius of that book?

Lord of the Flies. . . its not scary or frightning like "AHHHHHH" like that scary but its just. . . . *shivers*

i really dont see how books can be scary 😛 i tried to read 2 Stephen King books once, Pet Semetary and this other one i cant remember..and anyways Pet Semetary was not scary at all, me and my friend rented the movie and that sucked too. 😐

I just bought that yesterday...... I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Is it really THAT terrifying?

I think I'm gonna love it then. 😈
